Chapter 13 - Fighting a Sigbin (1) (1/2)
Ziro's feet slightly took a step back when she saw that inexplicable and horrifying face. Long pointed ears, ripped mouth extended onto its earlobes, gnashing sharp shark teeth covered with crimson liquid, bulging yellow eyeballs with brilliant ruby pupils, and its hairless head… such disgusting figure!
'That! No way! Isn't that sigbin?!'
She couldn't believe her eyes. But yes, it was actually sigbin, a jar monster. In her previous life, her grandmother used to tell her about these bloody beasts. Some of them were basically human at first but they were caught and trapped in a mysterious jar until they turned into this deer-sized devil, more of a Tasmanian devil. However, some of them were born inside the jar and were raised by their kind. Moreover, in this world, all sigbins were considered to be mid-tier beasts! Compared to Ziro who was a cripple, she would only be a snack for this minute monster.
'G-grandma was telling the truth! They were real!'
It took a second for Ziro to notice its inched black nails on its long skinny fingers which held a corroded dagger covered by blood.
It stench!!!
In a swift, Ziro briskly leaped backwards and raised her hand towards her face which made her white robe danced to her graceful movement. Her dazzling snow robe covered her nose as though it was made to be a maiden veil. But no good, its fowl stench still lingered on her nostrils. It made her dizzy enough to make her vomit. It was like thousand rotten eggs mixed with human fecal wastes plunged into decaying human body filled with worms. Blurg!!
Her eyes went blurry as her ashen face turned pale green. No! She couldn't take it! She stomach felt like a ship in a middle of an ocean whipped by a storm! So dizzy!
She inevitably lowered her left hand holding her weapon when she felt throbbing pain her stomach. Until then she realized…
Slash! Without any strength to react, Ziro found herself being cut on the shoulder by that slicking monster. It was so fast that her eyes couldn't catch up! Her eyes widened when she was caught in a momentum of falling on the gushing ground as though everything turned into slow motion. Her pupils narrowed only to saw beads of blood spattered into thick air.
Thud!
”Gah!” Her back hit the ground hardly until she could only cough blood. Her lungs seemed damaged as she heard an awful crack from her ribcage! Such strong impact!
'F*ck! This body is frailer than a girl!'
She just cursed in her mind. Well, she couldn't blame the young boy for not taking care of this body. Prince Ziro already suffered from multiple humiliations from his family, no wonder his will would be crushed hundredfold. The one that Prince Ziro vented his anger the most was from his Uncle and its Son, Prince Mu, the closest mortal dragon prince on getting the throne from his father.
