Chapter 152 - 145 (1/2)
Immediately the surroundings were covered by tye converging mist which was blocking the vision of each of the present Charmers. They weren't aware that the place they were currently bin was still the same but in their own little world, it wasn't.
The steaming hot air came from the volcanic ash of the nearing to explode volcano. They were at the pit of the active volcano as they could feel the scorching heat emitted by the cracks on its foot.
A splash of the lava spurted out and almost shot the Charmer next to the silver haired young man, fortunately, the said Charmer wasn't weak as he deflected it using his water charm.
It was an advantage for a water Charmer like him but when he was about to be at ease, he found out that the lava didn't back down from his water attack as it tried to overcome it. Chun without hesitation, grabbed the former as they distanced themselves away from the explosion.
Dried up black mass of ashes and acidic goo shot out which they instinctively avoided. No matter how one look at it, it was a suspicious black substance.
After saving the life of the Charmer, the silver haired young man didn't bother her attention to the other as she silently counted the present Charmers with her, they were around a hundred of them and currently, they were about the exact number.
Or was it?
There was a missing one.
Chun narrowed her eyes as she started to speculate.
Series of strides and steps nearing her position snapped the silver haired young man back from her pondering as a long curly haired lady with golden strawberry hair came into her line of sight. Behind her were familiar faces.
Wei Xi was the first one to spot the silver haired young man like a sore thumb, sticking out from the sudden eruption of the acidic lava. His silver white hair, flawless fair skin and languid aura were the ones that caught the sight of the heiress. Although that they were not match made in heaven (Pair) still Wei Xi wouldn't want to give up on her.
There was another method in order to be a pair with the silver haired young man, it was to improve herself in her charm ability precision and control, and somehow achieve a certain level of advancement which could enable them as a Pair.
In fact, Chun wasn't interested in the way the spoiled heiress was thinking while gazing at her with lovestruck eyes.
”Chun! You're here. Thanks the fate!” Leika hoorayed as she was a simple-minded person and loyal to people that she treated as friends.
She would be truly saddened if the silver haired young man and the eighth prince wasn't present, luckily Feng Cui was the first one she saw when she arrived at this unfamiliar dangerous environment and now she was with Chun.
This was a first for her to have teammates and friends that were not in her small village and they were nobles too. The innocent young lady had no idea that she would be the one to take the role as a glue to stick their team together while the eighth prince would be the gum that would persist to follow the silver haired young man.
Meanwhile, Chun who was ignorant to all of her so-called teammates' train of thoughts wouldn't see this unexpected event that would always end her with them in the upcoming scenes.
The second miss calmly looked at Chun and nodded to the other as they tacitly understood each other. This kind of atmosphere somehow created an illusion that they were destined partners due to their mutual understanding with each other.
Suddenly the sticky as a glue heiress, barged between them as she attached her 'octopus-like' hands on the arm of the silver haired young man while she stared at the calm second miss with vigilance. Even though the second miss was her favorite sister and they benefitted each other because of their aligned belief, they wouldn't let her 'destined pair' to be taken away by the other.
Amper could only shrug in return as she continued with her silence.
”Can I call you Older Brother Chun?” She coquettishly stated while she blinked with her doe hazelnut eyes.
Those sweet as honey eyes pleadingly looked at the other which made Chun massage her forehead in trouble while she nodded in reluctance.
