Chapter 89 - 84 (1/2)
The sloth young man wasn't interested with the love letters and gifts that were placed on top of his usual desk.
As if pretending not to see those things, he turned to another seat and sat on it, far away from those stuff. He leaned on his desk and discreetly tapped on the earpiece on his left ear.
”Lerrent, teacher said that you should keep your eyes on Ulric Anoli,” Rye stated from the other side as the young man simply took a glance at the occupied male student with his medical science book.
The Ferto Mari Academia wasn't only centered with corporate business as their academy had this small number of people studying medicines. The academy was like a typical prestigious elite school that only focused on normal professions, though there would be some martial practitioners who tended to have more interest in the commerce world than being a cultivator. But there were only few of them as this dog-eat-dog world, being stronger was most people believed on because they would be adored and revered by many.
Furthermore, they would have a longer lifespan as a cultivator.
Due to his sėnsɨtɨvė senses, Ulric felt a curious gaze on him but when his eyes left his book, he saw that no one was acting strange as he went back to his book.
It might be one of his paranoia.
He ignored it and immersed himself with his book. Learning new kinds of medical stitches. He should try this to his test subjects.
A glint of crazed-look appeared on his expression which he immediately masked. Only Lerrent noticed the sudden appearance and disappearance of the sinister aura. The sloth young man lazily looked at the bowed male student as he let out a soft sigh.
Subconsciously, Ulric looked up and their sight clashed. The untrifling eyes of the sloth young man, expressionlessly stared at the other as the male student diverted his gaze in intimidation.
He had no idea why he was scared by the stare of that person as he felt dread from the unassuming gaze, he should asked his uncle about this feeling as he was an expert psychologist.
Lerrent tore his lazy gaze at the scared male student as he sighed once again.
”Is teacher sure about this person being the Chaser? He was just scared by that uncaring stare of Lerrent.” The gossip king laughed to his heart content but the others wasn't laughing with him.
Finally, he noticed the awkward atmosphere as he asked, ”Isn't it funny?”
He only received a 'are-you-dumb-look' from his classmates as they continued with their task. Kai Sun felt disheartened from being left out from their out of this world level of comprehension as he analyzed back to the situation. After realizing something, he was about to blurt out his idea when Han spoke first.
”Ulric Anoli might be connected to the Chaser.” The gossip king felt his uplifted mood was instantly washed away by a cold bucket of water due to his thunder being snatched by Han.
Han ignored the death glares of the gossip king as he discussed with the others.
”It might be,” Li Li agreed as she played with her mechanical doll. The table infront of her was full of gadgets that she just finished ȧssembling. It was like playing toys to her as within ten minutes, she finished thirty varying kinds of gadgets and tools that could aid them with their mission.
”Right, Lith did you finished examining the markings?” Han was referring to the left markings on the body of the victims.
Lith took the paper that she just arranged from the messy table and handed it to Han. Terra had already looked at the results and it was amazingly done by someone who had knowledge of psychology. As a behaviorist, she knew that this criminal would be slippery to catch, she could even bet that the police couldn't get a hold of this culprit if they tried to.
Which was an accurate deduction of Terra as it really happened in the past.
Chun was following another target of the Chaser's case. She was not in her disguised as Light Dinar as she tied her hair in a bun and wore a black cap. She removed her feminine make up which displayed her clean face.
Her eyes was back to her blue-green ones as she stealthily followed the young man who was called Marcos. The silvery pink haired young woman's seatmate in the linguistic class.
Marcos was looking around as the deserted place was eerily quiet. He didn't notice anyone as he continued to walk to his destination. The youth stopped infront of an abandoned house.
'So this was the abandoned house that Xiao Fen had been saying.'
