Chapter 77 - Letters from Henry (2/2)
Anne said that but the big red marker in her hand was making millions of annotations with not only circles or corrections but little drawings of angry faces and a Gandalf pooping. She was even smiling viciously when the next victim dared to enter the little office of her club.
The storm had passed and I am parting towards the Mansion to begin my training, this will be the last letter I will be able to send you in a while. I hope you are healthy and happy as I always remember you. Please, even if it is for a brief moment, I want to hear your voice before I enter that place. You know I don't have permission to talk to anyone at least for a week.
My dear, just a little hello will be enough for me to resist this harsh winter that will enter my heart from not seeing you.
Your always faithful, Henry.]
Anne was pacing around the hallways with the young students not daring to take their MINI to take a picture of her. Even Gandalf was grunting in a bad mood. He was always cheerful but now a dark aura covered his fluffy white hair.
”Princess… we… we are fans of you, can we get an… and autograph?”
The young girls from the first year showed the princess their books with the hope to be rewarded with a beautiful smile and a sign in their first year's books. However, the other students were making them signals to go away or they will face the cruelest vengeance of the world.
”Oh my!” Anne smiled with mischievousness or more like an evil expression ready to punish anyone stopping her path. ”These books are so beautiful and new, they seem to be very useful too.”
Her fingers were slowly reaching for their books as the poor souls were innocently blinking their eyes in delight. However, a strange laugh was coming from the mouth of the Princess.
”Muahahahaha!”
”This is going to be a slaughter.”
”Oh no, I can't look at this… this is so terrible.”
”We should call for someone to stop this.”
”Who is enough brave? You know the one who must not be named is not here…”
”Maybe a scapegoat…”
”Who?”
”Wizard Druon? He is strong and… with an open mind.”
”Silly?”
”Yes,” the old man that was watching and murmuring was Adam Robinson. He was also afraid to come anywhere near the princess and even Assistant Vin was watching behind. ”You should call him.”
”He isn't answering,” Assistant Vin had been calling the wizard even before the Principal had suggested it.
”Tch…”
Then a sudden ring stopped the viciousness of her eyes. She looked at the familiar name on the MINI and sighed for the n-th time. However, just before she could hang up and continue her slaughter, a finger pressed the green buŧŧon to answer the call.
”Moira?”
Anne looked at the girl with red eyes and long black hair. Moira had this expressionless face as always but then a sigh came through her eyes. She patted the shoulder of the princess and signaled the phone to make her answer it.
”Anne?” the voice of Henry echoed not just in the hallway but in Anne's heart...
”I miss you,” Anne said.
