Chapter 56 - Hearts can break... (2/2)

”What?”

Luca raised his hands to his eyes and noticed that indeed, he had some glasses on.

”I… I didn't know, I don't use them.” he thought for a second, but his mind was confused, before arriving in the room, he was certain that he had left his room on time. However, the moment he arrived, it seemed that he was ten minutes behind. ”What is going on?”

”Mmm…” Anne smiled at the boy, however, the one she was seeing was someone else in those glasses, ”let's have a talk in the back, Luca.”

”My Princess?”

”Come, don't worry,” she smiled mischievously, ”Henry will not know.”

”That…” he gulped and blushed, ”I… this…”

”What? You don't want to?” she smiled so shinily that it was almost as blindly as the light from before.

Then she moved to the back of the room and opened the hidden door. Luca followed her foolishly, it seemed that he was the one blinded this time, or more like the only one. The others stopped their foolish act the moment they saw the Princess enter the room.

”Let's go.”

”Yes, it was fun.”

”Will she really upload that into her page?”

”I can't wait to see it.”

A day in the butler Academy, Vincent's life.

Just as every other day, Vincent was in the kitchen, his fiery red hair was slightly covered in flour for his many times creating cakes of many varieties and sizes. His hands were moving marvelously and with dexterity to decorate with flowers of different sizes and colors the small cakes, the medium-sized cakes, and the ones with almost seven floors.

He said that if he reached the level of a Master pâtisserie, then he will give him his book and will consider him his disciple.

Vincent didn't stop his hands from moving from that moment on. He had a goal, to get the secret recipe book, but not by dirty means as Moira was trying to get it. He wanted to be worth it, to deserve it as an acknowledged disciple of Master Hugo.

”I am almost done,” he had baked one hundred cakes that week, with a little help of the kitchen staff, but the main designs were from him. So many techniques were used to create those cakes, even magic.

”Vincent!”

One of the staff walked inside and looked nervous. His hands were shaking while holding his 'MINI'.

”What is it?” Vincent was stretching his arms and moving his head to free some stress and tiredness. ”What happened?”

He wasn't that concerned as the much news around the school was about Princess Anne and her crazy ideas and feats.

”That… there is something you must know, but… but… you should prepare yourself.”

”What is it?”

”You better come out from the kitchen,” the young boy knew that it would be dangerous with all those knives and things to burn.

”What is it?”

Vincent snatched the MINI and the first image entering his eyes was an image that broke his heart.

He sat down and muttered, ”Moira and… and… James?”
