Chapter 37 - Property (2/2)
Then it was revealed that she was a little crazy genius, not only the new Anne cult in Lith was astonished, but the Academy was informed and tried to test her many times. Anne only retorted, ”My dear fellas, I don't know where did you get word of this, but I am only a little Princess with toys and small cups of tea, did you see?” the only thing they saw where the many books on history and economics in the back, even the equations on the little blackboard too difficult to mention any further.
”But… Princess Anne, you wrote this, right?” one Master in History and Economics came in front with the book she had given to her brother. More like, she had sneaked inside some of her brother's other books.
”That… where did you get that? How dare you steal it!”
She took the notes and started to draw a strange figure in the corner of each page. So when they flipped the pages they will get to see an oversized dog walking on top of a city, destroying the houses, making people running for their lives. Then some strange people trying to stop the gigantic dog with their swords and arch bows however, a little girl was on top of the dog commanding him while laughing 'Muahahaha'. It was a strangely entertaining show, but the teachers were concerned. Fear grew in their old hearts. 'Where will they get a dog to appease the little Princess? It seemed that they had to work harder to find it.'
”I will go back now, if you have any questions about my story, please ask through a letter,” the little girl smiled and walked back, ”oh, right, tell my brother that he will do great in the Academy.”
”But… little Princess, the Crown Prince is too young now, he can't enter the Academy so soon,” the Masters looked at each other.
They could have admitted the Crown Prince this year, but the older son of the King of Dureim made a big ruckus. First, because he didn't get to be the next fiancé of Princess Anne, next because the Crown Prince of Lith, although younger than him, was admitted to the Academy before him. He demanded his father to retire any support to the school if they were to admit the Prince.
The Academy was a great institution but it relied a big deal on the support of the big Kingdoms and Dureim was hell a lot of a big Kingdom. So the teachers were in a very dire situation. However, as unexpected as everything the Princess does every day. She gave them a letter.
[Master of the Academy, please don't worry about anything regarding the Kingdom of Dureim. I got the King's word that he will continue to give full support to the Academy.
Adam Robinson, Your boss aka the Principal of the Academy.]
The group of teachers could only look with astonishment at the fluffy girl walking away. A word just came to their mind, 'How?'
However, the answer didn't make them wait for less than three minutes when they came out of the Princess' tower.
”Save Wizard Druon!”
”Save the bringer of happiness!”
Thus, the Masters had their answers and left the Kingdom of Lith with relieved faces. They knew that the biggest fear of the King of Dureim was the magic of a certain Wizard. Just a few had the full story (of course, in the form of a pamphlet, written and illustrated by the Principal of the Academy, Adam Robinson), they knew how the poor King of Dureim was subjected to the ire of the Druon.
Whenever Julian du Lith got a better score in school, Wizard Druon tried to bring shame to him but every plan failed. The clouds he made to followed Julian ended on the head of the King of Dureim, Ulises.
Whenever Julian du Lith won one combat in the Knights Tournament, Wizard Druon tried to fill his boots with frogs and snakes, however, somehow the pair of boots ended not being Julian's but Ulises'.
Whenever Julian du Lith had a beautiful girl confessing to him, Wizard Druon lost it almost entirely and tried to add a strange potion to the glass of Julian. However, as always the glass changed to the one of Ulises, and that is how he met his wife. In school, because Julian's potion made him uninhibited and confess to the love of his life, his Queen.
However, even if he had that much to thank the crazy Wizard for the beautiful Queen he gained, the poor King of Dureim didn't want to get on his sight again. Not when he was living inside the Kingdom of Lith near Julian.
