Chapter 37 - Property (1/2)
”Did the sun come out or are you smiling to me, beauty?”
Anne was now doing what she had made her most enjoyable habit. To tease her darling, Henry. Who can reproach her? The boy was charming and handsome to the core.
Only his face can bring down to their knees not only girls or boys but even the teachers, even the Principal was charmed by that face. If there was a room filled with geniuses from the whole world, their IQ will go to the ordinary level if they had Henry within them, they are the only ones to withstand the power of his handsomeness. That is the degree of his attractive facial power, no one would stay sane looking at that smile, or eyes, or dimples, even the long eyelashes. No one, well, except, of course, the most outstanding first-year student, Princess Anne du Lith.
Many knew her as the evildoer of the Kingdom of Lith, some others as the most outstanding Princess of Lith, and many others as the manager of Wizard Druon and co-founder of VincentDev, the new arising company of magical artifacts for the ordinary people. However, there was a title that no one would there to forget, mostly because of fear than anything else, she was to be the beautiful fiancée of Henry Mills, son of the famous Duke of Mills.
Why should they never forget that? Easy, that was even a question in the entrance exam for the new applicants of the Academy. The correct answer should be: Because once a Mills had his eyes on a girl, that love will last for eternity. No one would change his mind, or so the legend told.
”Anne!”
The Crown Prince Ilian was coming furiously from the school building with two students following him.
”That… you what are you doing?”
”This… This is what I like to call, marking my territory, elder brother,” Anne took a sip of her cup with an elegant movement of her hand. ”You should do the same or someone will take the beautiful flower out of your garden, I heard there is an extremely handsome Prince ready for the challenge.”
”Anne,” that was the voice from not other than the young Henry, he didn't like when his dear bride complimented another man in front of him, not when they were giving a show to everyone in the school.
”Oh, don't you worry my dear,” Anne leaned back, ”these are only for you,” she smiled and planted a kiss on Henry's cheek.
The young princess had made it again. It was a weekend, and she had made her new subordinates of her newly established club to set the tea table in front of the school. The cakes the teapots and the small cups, then she sat in her favorite place, on the legs of her darling.
Maybe, it was an outrageous situation, but not for Anne, not when some enemy was lurking around her dear Henry. He was so beautiful that she wanted to cover his face with a mask with only her with the right to discover it.
”Darling, never forget that you are mine,” Anne's finger traced the chin of the beauty underneath her.
”Are you jealous, my bride?” Henry was beaming with happiness. It was the first time he saw her so possessive.
”No, I am not jealous, I am territorial,” she kissed his other cheek. ”This is my property.”
”Anne!” Ilian was again almost speechless at the brazenness of his sister.
He knew that his little sister was a special existence, somehow it was difficult to understand her way of doing things. When they were young she made everyone believe she was the new terror on the town, the evildoer that will bring suffering to the Country. He even caught her practicing a strange laugh that made the maids crack in laughter so hard that they had to be excused to go to the garden to let it out, or they wouldn't take it. Soon the back of the garden was named 'The Giggling Spot.'
However, when he caught her talking to her little bear as if it was some kind of demon giving her instructions, then he knew they had already lost her. She even named the teddy bear Mellie, goodness.
