”Tia, am I not the only Princess of Lith?”
”Yes, Your Highness.”
”Am I not the most incredible and smart little girl in the whole Kingdom?
”Yes, Your Highness.”
”Then, many should be jealous of me, right?” Anne pondered for a while but couldn't understand the mission of the fluffy Mellie.
What did he mean by [Make someone jealous]? She already spread the Kingdom with jealousy, she is the queen of the 'I can make anyone jealous of me without lifting a finger.'
The mission should be completed by now, right?
Whenever a mission was completed successfully, she would get a message in a chocolate cookie. It was kind of difficult to understand how Mellie gave Tia these cookies with messages hidden inside. Even if Anne tried to spy on Tia every time the mission was completed, the cookies seemed to appear magically in her hands when she wasn't looking.
”Tia?”
”Mmm?”
”Is there a cookie for me?”
Tia's ears were quite surprised. The Princess always asked for cakes, tea, fruit tarts but never cookies. She seemed to have the thought that a cookie is a never-ending addiction as they were so small to completely alleviate the dėsɨrė for sweetness with just one. It will be a terrible mistake if she started eating one and she couldn't stop eating then.
”Mmm… I… I will ask the chefs to prepare ones for you, Your Highness.”
Anne looked at Tia's hands and they were empty.
”No, nevermind then… Who should be the one to get jealous. This is difficult.”
”What is it, Princess?”
”Tia, I want to make someone jealous of me, who shall be?”
”This…” Tia was again flabbergasted by the young Princess crazy ideas, why couldn't she have some ordinary princess to serve, one that likes to play with dolls and teddy bears at the age of six? ”Sigh… I… I don't know Miss.”
”I have an idea, my bride.”
Anne looked at the little boy with bright green eyes, appearing behind the gates of the garden, and smiled in happiness.
”My darling!”
From the day the King announced Henry's engagement, she decided to help the little boy. She didn't want him to be sent to a marriage with a foreign Princess. It would be awful to lose such a caring servant and a loyal ally for the future. So, she decided to pose as his fiancé for now and think later about how to ditch the marriage.
”My bride, I know a way to make people jealous, won't you come to a date with me?”
”Are you sure? Won't they be jealous of you instead?”
”Yes, you are right, but it won't be a waste to try, don't you think? It will be fun.” The little Henry smiled sweetly, he knew that she could never resist it and gave in to his wishes every time.
”Okay, darling.” She took his hand and the two little children went out of the garden hand in hand. They looked so cute that the servants and maids couldn't resist smiling when they saw them walking over the palace.
The feeling was so different from jealousy. It was more like a warm feeling and soft giggling capturing everyone's face.
”What did you say?”
”Princess Anne is on a date with Henry Mills. They are pacing around the Palace holding hands, aren't they cute?.”
