With a darkened aura, a fright voice warned, ”If anything happens to my sister even those higher-ups behind you, won't have the power to save you from me. ... I will hunt you. ...I will hunt you down like prey. There will be no place in this world that you could hide from me, no rock for you to crawl under that I could not find you. I promise, if anything happens to my sister I will break every bone in your body and you lay there, unable to move until I finally dig out the still-beating heart from your ċhėst with a dull knife and make you eat it before you die. I will keep you alive until I am done with you and you will be awake and begging me for mercy. Remember, I never threaten, this is my promise to you. You can see up close and personal exactly how I got my name.”

Yue Xiang stilled suddenly, his frostbitten voice echoing in Tian Mein's ears as he could see each and every little thing that the Devil was going to do to him. Tian Mein looked down at Yue Xiang, although he had the position of power, he knew, deep down inside, that he was nothing more than an ant in front of this man. No one dared to breathe, let alone move. The two men looked at their boss, wanting to know what to do next.

Tian Mein clasped his ċhėst with a frightening look, his whole body drenched in sweat, he opened his mouth a few times to speak, but the words were trapped in his throat. At that moment he felt each and every promise that Yue Xiang said, he could feel that he no longer had control of his bladder and a warm stream flowed down his leg to pool at his feet.

Knowing that he was dead either way, he took a breath to steady himself and indicated to the two men. ”Light it up.”

The two men did not move for a minute, wanting to make sure that they had heard their boss correctly. They were scared of what Yue Xiang had said, but they were also afraid of their boss. Shaking himself, Man(1) then took a Metal Cigarette Lighter out of his pocket and gazed at his boss with a ghastly expression.

”Bo_ss__wh__t!” He stammered.

”Stop looking at me. Just lit the car and burn that b***h.”

Yue Xiang's eyes widen in disenchantment, ”Nooo. Noooo.”

Seeing Yue Xiang in panic, Tian Xiang shrieked in an overloud voice, ”Do it! Do it now!!”

Man(1) clicked the lighter on and tossed it onto the car.

The gasoline caught fire and spread around the car. As the fire was starting to burn higher, and traveling inside the car, a dark shadow suddenly obstructed their vision.

”Wan! Little Wan!Noo Noooo Noooooo!”

Adrenaline flooded through Yue Xiang's system, his heart pounding faster and faster. At this rate, his heart would explode at any moment as his eyes were wide with fear. His body wanted to run, so with a last bit of strength, he lifted himself away from the ground and ran towards the car, but. ....

'BOOM...BOOM.' Within a second, they heard an explosion.

Yue Xiang was thrown away due to the impact of force.

Lying on the ground his mind turned black. His vision was covered with the memories of Yue Wan when she was a baby.  He lost her..the little baby who caught his finger on her hold during their first meeting. .. He lost her. ..

A voice of his mother echoed, 'Xiang, I will hand her to you. Promise me that you will protect her.'

Little Xiang: 'Yes, Mother.'

His promise to his mother, but he wasn't able to protect that precious gift. He lost her …What would he do now?

It felt as if his whole body had lost its strength and his muscles were all out of power, he remained still with no movement.

Everything around him became silent.

Tian Mein's lip curved up in satisfaction when he saw Yue Xiang's pathetic condition. He gave a wink to his men to inform that person about Yue Wan's death.

They returned to their hiding places.

Ye Xiang slowly stood up and murmured Yue Wan's name repeatedly.

”She is Dead,” Tian Mein taunted with a sneer.

Yue Xing fell to the ground again, his gaze never leaving the destroyed car.

”HaaaHaaaa. Look at you. ...a beggar. .. HAAAHAA. A beg---.”

”BANG. ..”

”Ah!” A small sound came from Tian Mein as he touched the back of his head and saw blood streaming out.

He turned back slowly….

”YOUUUU!!” He whispered while raising his index finger pointing the person before him.

”BANG.” That metal rod again hit his forehead with much force and rage.
