Chapter 80 - Twins Bid Adieu To Their Better-Half (2/2)

They gave a sweet smile and said goodbye to Uncle Wang as well as the other servants and security guards that looked after their beloved.

Finally, they said goodbye to Little Bao. If Yue Wan said that he was her son, then he would be there son as well, and there is nothing wrong saying goodbye (and staying in the good books) to their own son.

Raising his head from the windowsill, Little Bao looked at them in acknowledgment. After all, they did get rid of the unwelcome guests for his mommy.

Watching Master Yue's actions, Uncle Wang burned some paper in his heart for the future son-in-law (or sons-in-law) of Father Yue. ”General Yue(Yue Wan's Granpa), you were right about your son.” He sighed.

”He really is hopeless,” a sharp voice ranged out behind Uncle Wang.

Uncle Wang turned around and startled. ”Young Master! You are back?”

Yue Xiang entered the door with gloomy aura, as he had a rough day today. Other than talking about his Mother's (Mrs. Yue Yeager) death, Lu Jia revealed some information about Li's hidden marriage contract and the consequences if Yue Wan failed to follow it.

The hardest part was the evolution of Xiao Hua's rage. Lost in his own thoughts, Yue Xiang had failed to notice his friend's spiraling emotions.

----Flashback to Lu Jia-----

Xiao Hua's transformed into a ferocious beast upon hearing that Yue Wan had no other choice to marry Li Rong or else her family will lose control of the entire Yue family, including the Miltary seal.

He clenched his jaw in anger and helplessness with a green vein popped out of his neck. Quietly, like a panther, Xiao Hua took a knife and slid it into Lu Jia's right palm.

”Ahhh...AhhAh...” Lu Jia uttered a loud, piercing cry due to the pain. Her voice echoed inside the walls as a steady stream of saliva trickled down her face.

While one of the remaining guards treated Lu Jia's injuries, the rest stood around the two men and the woman between them. The place quickly filled with the coppery smell of blood and fear.
