”I should've taken a picture for our Year-Book collection,” Chen Ai ġrȯȧnėd in frustration for losing such a wonderful opportunity.
Yue Wan walked towards Chen Ai. With a broad smile as she consoled her friend: ”You will have many more opportunities to take a picture of her humiliations, Little Spring. What she experienced here was just the beginning.”
Little Spring hurried to embrace her best friend, but Tai Sun grabbed her by the collar of her light pink shirt and then with an accusatory tone: ”You piglet, watch what you are doing!”
Chen Ai puffed her cheek in protest, ”Stop buŧŧing in on the reunion with my wife.” Her nostrils flared out in anger, like pig's nose.
Tai Sun lifted her up like a stray dog and said with a coy smile: ”Behave! Or else, I will kick you out.”
Tai Sun clicked his tongue in irritation. His face flushed red when he heard her shameless whining. ”Say one more word, just one more. I dare you. I will smack your buŧŧ.”
As usual, his threats work perfectly. Chen Ai had beads of sweat rolling down her face as she gulped in fear. ”HeHe, I'm just kidding. Who can demote the heavenly Mr. Smarty Pants?”
Yue Wan chucked as the two teased each other back and forth. ”Stop flirting in my home, you idiots.” Turning around, she let them to the sofa as a maid placed some snacks and refreshments down on the coffee table.
The friends started to discuss Yue Wan's health, and Chen Ai flew into a rage when she heard about the hospital incident with the Tian family. She could not believe that happened. Looking at Yue Wan, Tai Sun asked about the person that provoked Tian Li into fighting against Yue Wan in WAX.
Yue Wan didn't divulge any information about the knife that she had taken from Tian Li, but she still gave her friends some of the information that she had gathered. Chen Ai wasn't clever enough to identify the loops in Yue Wan's information, but Tai Sun could easily see the holes in the story. He was not convinced that the ȧssault happened simply because of Tian Li's jealousy. Raising his eyebrow, he asked: ”If that is the case, why did it happen right before the 2nd-tiered exams?”
Chen Ai stood up from her seat in bitterness as she heard Tai Sun's remark. In complete dismay, she looked at her friends and said: ”Tomorrow is the 2nd-Tiered Exam at WAX! What should we do now? Will this affect Yue Wan's position?”
The most concerning issue for Yue Wan was that she didn't have enough time to prepare for her exam. Also, she might not be able to finish the exam perfectly if she just used her left hand to write: ”It's ok, Little spring. I won't be defeated by these injuries.”
Still not able to control her fury, Little Spring tried to reason with her by suggesting that Yue Wan request WAX and seek some special arrangements for her due to her injury.
With knitted brows and tight-lipped smile, Tai Sun knocked Chen Ai's head without warning. In an abrasive voice, he rebuked: ”If you are going to speak, speak with some common sense first, Little Piglet. In any case, if WAX took an individual concern over Miss. Yue and provided her with special arrangements, then it may create some conflict with the other students for showing partiality.”
