Chapter 74 - Ultron -2- (1/2)

Ultron became sentient and began scouring information from both Jarvis and the Network. Funding the humans prone to self destruction, Ultron absorbs JARVIS and continue to scour for information in the network.

After exhausting Stark servers, he turned to unearth informations from Haven servers.

On the other side of town, Eve monitoring the situation and seeing Ultron attacks, protects the servers then uses a mind stone powered device to blast Ultron back.

Eve then reports to Elijah:” Sir, the attacks were avoided and the enemy was repulsed.”

Elijah:” Good work Eve. Please keep monitoring the situation and report to Natasha if something amiss.”

-Back to the avengers tower-

The avengers were partying after the successful mission. They were together playing a game in which they try to lift Mjølnir to no avail.

Ultron controlling few Iron Legion interrupts their get together. Declaring them to be all killers, he then command some iron legion to attack the team.

During the thwarted attack , Ultron successfully upload his consciousness into another iron legion then escapes with the Sceptre in hand.

In the Aftermath, the avengers confront Tony for creating Ultron. Thor and Steve were particularly pissed. Thor because the Sceptre is lost again, Steve because Tony did something unnecessary and dumb.

Fury came back and they all relocated to the Helicarrier since that one wasn't destroyed by Ultron like he destroyed everything in the Avengers Hq networks.

-On the Helicarrier-

In the meeting room.

Fury:” This is some piss ȧss bullshit you did. Now we need to figure out where this Ultron is going next.”

They go through Von Strucker's downloaded files.

Tony:” Found it.” He then shows them Ulysses Klaue files.

Steve:” What's that on his neck?”

Thor :” It's a brand.”

Maria searched for the brand in the network.

Maria:” it's thief in wakandan.”

Steve :” I thought your father got the last of it.”

Fury:” You mean Vibranium?”

Tony :” Yeah.”

Steve :”So where is this guy now?”

Tony:” At the coast of South Africa.”

The avengers decide to attack the Salvage yard.

At the salvage yard, Ulysses Klaue has just done doing business with Ultron selling some of his Vibranium Stash which was really scarce since most of it was stolen by a masked man in 1992. Klaue stills remembers how the man knocked all of them without even touching them and took everything and disappeared. Klaue then tried to procure some Vibranium but with no success.

Suddenly The avengers minus the Hulk came in and attacked the ship.

A confrontation between Ultron with his two minions against the avengers ensued.

Thor's vision was hazy but he saw something in relationship with the mind stone.

The battle unfortunately derailed into a skirmish on Johannesburg ground causing some destruction around as Ultron didn't really care about civil casualty.

Following the battle, the avengers were a bit depressed and frustrated since the public opinion kinda blamed them for the debacle on Johannesburg.

Barton piloted the jet and said:” Relax guys. We'll arrive shortly to a safe house.”
