Chapter 39 - Extremis (2/2)

Pepper Potts in fact was already rescued by Eliana's forces and was cured and stabilised in Haven Hospital.

Stark escaped and reunited with Rhodes and after discovering Killian's plan intending to attack President Ellis aboard Air force one. He plans for the Vice President to follow his orders in exchange of curing his daughter.

Rhodes saves the president with the help of Remotely controlled iron man suits.

On the decommissioned oil-tanker, the Norco, Stark fought with Killian trying to find Potts location from him . Killian was frustrated as Pepper Potts disappeared and his men guarding her were all killed.

Their fight was interrupted by an armoured woman flying in and slapping Killian sending him crashing toward a steel wall.

The woman was obviously Eliana . She watched enough , now it's her time to play.

Stark just looked at the woman that beat him up in Gulmira in bewilderment.

Eliana began pounding Killian and throwing him around like doll while she laughed in glee. Killian found himself in disadvantage even with the Extremis enhancement. Elijah's spies were all enhanced by a perfect serum .

Killian tried to use his heat to melt Eliana's armour but to no avail. It didn't even leave a mark.

Killian :” What the fuċk is going on ? I melt it his armour.”

Killian said referring to him melting Iron man armour.

Eliana just laughed and said :” Oh kid, you have no idea what you're dealing with.”

Eliana decided to stop playing and ran a hand through Killian , tearing his heart out from the back.

Eliana chuckled and said :” Ah that was fun”

She then looked at Tony and said :” get up and follow me.”

Tony said angrily :” why did you kill him ? I needed to know Potts location from him.”

Eliana just huffed and said :” Shut up and follow me or i will knock you out and take you.”

Tony shut up and followed . Eliana spoke in her comms and after few seconds, a jet appeared and they both got in.

-Haven Hospital-

Stark ran and took Potts hands and kissed her.

Eliana from the back said :” she is fine , she will be awake after a few hours.”

Tony :” what about the Extremis that she was injected with?”

Eliana :” It is already cured , she will retain a bit of regeneration and she will be healthier and a bit stronger than an average human .”

Tony nodded and said :” Is Elijah here ? Can i see him ?”

Eliana :” No you can't, Mr Müller isn't on earth right now. When he comes back you can schedule a meeting .”

Tony nodded in understanding while Eliana excused herself and left. She has one more loose end to deal with.

-Vice president Rodriguez home-

VP Rodriguez was anxious . He still has no news from Killian. He looked at the tv screen to see if any new developments were reported when a bullet ran through his head killing him . Eliana walked from the shadows and began searching his office . She then looked at his daughter's picture and thought :' I guess it won't hurt if she was healed from her disability '
