Chapter 39 - Extremis (1/2)

After failing to stabilise Extremis and to continue his scheme to take over the united state and have his revenge on Stark , Aldrich Killian decided to look for investments to fund his further research on Extremis.

He decided to book an appointment with Haven Industries, the leading company in the medicine field.

His request of meeting was approved but not with the CEO Linda Müller but with a senior executive in the company called Eliana Rastowski.

He was now waiting in the waiting room in Haven Park.

After a while a secretary came up to him and said :” You can go in now Mr.Killian . Miss Rastowski is waiting for you.”

Killian nodded and followed the secretary .

Inside the office was a young beautiful blonde woman . She wore a friendly smile on her face , looking ver professional. No one in his right mind could guess that this woman is ruthless.

Eliana stood up and held her hand toward Killian saying :” Welcome , Nice to meet you Mr.Killian.”

Killian shook her hand and said :” Nice to meet you too Miss Rastowski.”

Eliana motioned for Killian to sit down and said :” So , what can i do for you today , Mr.Killian.”

Killian began his sales-pitch about Extremis using 3D holograms and explained the wonders that Extremis could bring . He then proposed for Haven to invest in his A.I.M and to extend an invitation for Elijah Müller to join his government funded research agency.

While Eliana looked like she was listening, she was really just thinking :' how long can he last in an interrogation session with me.'

When He finished his speech, Eliana began laughing like a maniac .

Killian was scared of by her attitude change from the friendly polite woman to the maniac.

Eliana:” Dude you got some balls. You come to us with an idea you stole after stopping yourself from committing suicide.”

Killian knew something was very wrong :” Miss I don't know what you are talking about .”

Eliana just laughed and tapped her desk , a view-screen popped up mid air and showed a video of Killian sneaking to Maya Hansen's room and copying her research and formula.

Aldrich Killian wanted to attack her but he knew if he did , all the mandarin charade will be uncovered and he will be hunted down by the Müller family forces.

Eliana just laughed and gave him a leeway :”Go go , you are really dreaming. It seems injecting yourself with Extremis has affected your brain.”

Aldrich Killian got out fuming and kept screaming at Eliana :” you gonna regret this.”

Eliana just laughed while she thought :' the boss didn't say anything about provoking . I hope he gives me a reason to play with him.'

Eliana sat back down and returned to monitoring Aldrich Killian using her drones. Eliana was delighted when she saw Aldrich issuing an order to his subordinates in anger not really thinking about the consequences.

At night, Eliana got out and went to the parking lot. She was tracked by someone in dark clothes.

Eliana stood at the door of her car and said to the man following her without looking :”Ah . One of Killian's dogs . I guess now i could now play with your boss like i wanted .”

Before the man following her could know what happened, Eliana stood in front him and slapped him with an obedience disk on the neck.

The man tried using Extremis to attack but that was his downfall with the obedience disk activating and knocking him out. Eliana just smiled and from the shadows, came other masked women and took the body of the ȧssailant to imprison.

Eliana just kept monitoring the situation with the mandarin attacks. Tony Stark mansion was destroyed and he was reported dead.

Pepper Potts was kidnapped and was subjected to Extremis.
