Chapter 46 - 20 Thomas first fight (1/2)

Thomas is making his way towards the apartment building which has been the joint resident of Thomas Allens and David Stutler.

It was around seven o clock in the evening and the adventures of Dave might start soon.

He wants to be involved in it from the very beginning and not in the middle.

On the way, David and Thomas met each other. David asked his best friend, ” How was your date?”

Thomas replied not feeling any need to hide things from Dave.” It was good. We made out in the end. We are going to meet in this weekend at the Club. So how was your day? Did something good happened?”

Dave asked surprised his friend knows about his recent encounter, ”How do you know something good happened?”

He just arched his brows. He twirls his fingers around his face and spoke, ”Its all over your face, bud. Something good may have happened to you.”

Dave was very excited about it and told him all about meeting Becky to helping her repair the transmitting mast of the radio tower.

Thomas is happy for his friend but also knows that things aren't going to be easy for his bud from here onwards.

Thomas pats his shoulders showing he was happy and jokes, ” So is she really as beautiful as you dreamt or did she turn into an old hag?” Saying that he started to run towards their joint apartment knowing what is to come.

Dave shouted ” Why you? ” but seeing his friend getting a massive headstart started to run abd catch him.

This run managed to speed up their travel.

They have arrived their apartment room but Thomas has a call so Dave entered the room earlier.

When Thomas entered he saw a middle aged man in coat and a walking stick, talk to Dave, ”I thought B- was generous. I have been recently released from a 10 year sentence during which the only reading material, ” He points at the paper hung on the Refrigerator, ” was your so called report on Napoleon Bonaparte. ”

He even commented on them, ” Your analysis was obvious but prose was weak.”

At that moment, Thomas decided to make them aware of his presence.

He looks at the paper hung and then at Horvath, ” I think you can give my buddy a free pass, after all he was in his fourth grade at that time and history has always been his weakest subject. ”

Hogarth looked at the new arrival with interest, ” And who might you be?”

” I am Thomas Allens, this guy's best friend. ” Be points at Dave and introduced himself, ” Who might you be? After all not everyone sneaks into the house of others to have a chat?” He asked the former student of Merlin.

” Thomas, I dont think we should stay. We should run. ” Dave whispered in Thomas ears unaware Horvath heard them.

Horvath doesn't care about their talks and spoke, ” I am Horvath. I am here for the Grimhold, where is it. The doll you took from the shop. The door hold something very powerful, something very important to me.You had it last. ” he asked Dave. ” I want it back.” He said in a severe tone.

”I dont know. I threw it in the street and ran away. It has been so long. I don't remember.” Dave replied while trying to find a way out of here.

” Where is the grimhold?” He asked again but this time he stood up from the chair.

He flicked his staff and a knife flew to himself.

” I will cut the truth out of you.” He warned him.

Before Dave could run, Thomas spoke out, ” So you are a sorcerer. Air burst.” He waved his hand at Horvath who has been surprised by the sudden ȧssault.

” What was that?” Dave shouted in surprise.
