Chapter 45 - 19 Life as a student (1/2)

Ten years later,

It has been almost two decade since Thomas has arrived in this world. If one has to be precise it is around fifteen years or so.

In this time, Thomas has decided to not follow the path he did in the DC world. He has become an ordinary student instead of being a scientist or anything related to science.

Even though he is an ordinary student his grades were never below top five. All this is done with his conscious effort of downplaying his grades.

He decided to take a break from that and decided to completely focus on his magic studies. This is the only way to become strong enough for the future battle.

In this time, he has dabbled into elemental magics such as fire, water, earth, air and lightning, summoning magic as well as transfiguration.

All of this is done by his own effort and talent. In this world, he had no system to support or guide him. All of these skills is something he gained while practicing the book in his mind, a gift from Merlin to learn more about Magic.

With his consistent effort he has become a Grand Mage who can sustain a couple of minutes at most against Balthazar or Horvath.

Although it might not seem much but facing a sorcerer who has more years experience than the amount of months he have lived is something yo be proud of.

Since the day the two students of Merlin get locked in the Urn, he has been keeping records of the day when they are caught.

Tomorrow, the ten-year sentence of the two grand mage level sorcerer will come to an end and the day to the final battle will come closer than ever.

” Thomas, get out of the bathroom and ready we have to head back to the university or Professor will be angry. ” Came the shout of a young man who disrupted Thomas thought processes.

Thomas shook his head thinking of the fate which awaits him and shouts back as a retort, ” Unlike a certain someone who has no life other than his tesla columns, I like to look good.

And secondly, I have a girlfriend who thinks I am a great guy.”

This hurts the boy. He shouts back, ”You don't have to use such a low blow just because you have a girlfriend and I don't. ”

At that moment, Thomas comes out if the bathroom while drying his hair with a towel.

” I had five girlfriends in the past three years I started dating, while you are still stuck on Becky. I know you like her, but at least try someone as a practice, man.

Let me tell you, girls love an experienced man. They often return to have a good time with someone as awesome as me.” Thomas said while wriggling his browse in a suggestive manner.

The boy with whom Thomas is talking to is the twenty-year-old David ”Dave” Stutler who happen to possess the ring of Merlin.

” I am not a man whore like you who run after women. ” Dave sneered at his best friend.

” Buddy, we are at the epitome of youth. Unlike you who is set for your dream girl, I like to keep my options open.

Anyway did I tell you about this babe I just met the other day? She was such a beauty. She was a real beauty especially in that tank top which was a little smaller for her.

She is British and she came here to be a model. Let me tell you she will be the dream girl of millions of men and damn, am I proud of myself.
