Although Merlin said a lot of things which revealed a whole new world to Thomas, he still feels much was left out. He never mentioned how he found the existence or how he contacted the different Merlin.

He even left put how he set the imprint on the artifacts and moved on to the matter of test. But, Thomas felt it isnt the entire truth.

Thomas doesn't have to worry about any problem having the test because the system ȧssured him that everything is going to be alright.

Yet for sake of knowing he asked, ”What is the test? What are the gains of passing it and what do I suffer if I lose?”

Merlin smiled and said, ” Good to know, you know the importance of asking a question and control your dėsɨrės. Too many candidates skip them and directly dive into the test without knowing the pros and cons.

Now, the pros will be explained at the end. Let it be a surprise for now. There are no cons except for the time spent.

A day in the real world is equal to a decade in the outside world. So the con is longer you spend on competing for the task more time you lose.

If you are in danger outside or your family is in danger then you will be protected by the artifact but your will suffer. So I recommend you act fast in that world. ” Merlin warned Thomas.

Thomas understood and felt good that he has made arrangement for his family's safety before coming to Gotham.

He just hoped the test doesn't exceed more than a day or Daisy may have doubts about his health and safety.

” What about the Test?” Thomas asked so be can prepare a plan of action for the test.

” It is quite simple. Every artifact has a fixed test. The candidate will ve sent to the world related to the artifact and fulfil a task. One artifact can have only one true successor.

After the test is completed, there will be no more successor after him. You got the Merlin's Ring so your test is to the world it is ȧssociated to. ” This imprint of Merlin explained.

'So I am going to the world of Sorcerer's Apprentice. It isn't that tough as long as it does not have anything to do with that ghostly Morgana. ' Thomas thought to himself and relaxed.

Merlin felt Thomas is relaxed after hearing it. He doesn't know what is going in his mind and made no attempt to inquire anything about this attitude.

” So what is the task exactly?” Thomas asked the exact parameter of the task. He knows the basics of that world so he wants to know what his task is and set a timeframe and plan of action.

There was an array around Thomas body. His body starts to fade away from his legs.

” Your task will be make sure that the apprentice survives the world and Morgana is dealt with. Don't worry about anything else. Your identity will be created and won't have any problem in mingling with the world.
