”You areSu Ying?” Shen Xiaoling was in a daze for a while. She looked at Su Ying, then looked at Hong Xiaofu, and she turned to look at Su Ying again.

She looked down at the chocolate she was holding in her hand. She clearly could not bear it, but she still did it without hesitation. She carefully pinched the wrapper and broke the tail end of the chocolate. She handed it to Su Ying and said, ”My brother said that I must share treats with my friends, let's eat this together.”

”Ah?” Su Ying was surprised. She looked at Shen Xiaoling, then looked at the chocolate before she said softly, ”This is for me?”

Shen Xiaoling gave the chocolate with a parting gaze but nodded her head firmly, ”Yup, for you!”

”Oh, thank you.” Su Ying usually ate chocolate once in a while too, but only that which cost at least two to three hundred dollars for a small box—rarely that type, which cost two dollars for a piece. However, she did not want to reject the kindness of Shen Xiaoling. She took the chocolate and popped it into her mouth at once before saying, ”This chocolate tastes great. Especially because it was from you. Do you usually eat this?”

Shen Xiaoling shook her head lightly and ate her chocolate very seriously as she said, ”I don't eat this often, the last time I had this it was half a year ago. I almost forgot what it tastes like!”

It had been so long, yet she remembered?!

Su Ying was stunned. Six months and eight days? It meant that she only had it once in half a year, yet she had given her some?

Judging by her expressions, she seemed a little sad, but she did not have the slightest hesitation.

Out of a sudden, Su Ying felt that the chocolate in her mouth had a heavier taste. Compared to the expensive chocolate she was used to, it was so much tastier. It was nothing artificial.

The young girl before her eyes was so pure that it was a little heartbreaking to watch.

She and Hong Xiaofu only had one another, but she was still so willing to share the things she liked with others.

Just then, out the corner of her eye, Su Ying saw Hong Xiaofu wrap the half-eaten chocolate properly before hiding it in his pockets. Was he planning on keeping it for his sister?

Su Ying breathed in softly. She opened the car door earnestly and said, while smiling, ”Alright, you are done eating. Please hop into the car, my dad is here to pick you up!”

”Wah!” Shen Xiaoling finished the last bit of her chocolate before she entered the car carefully. Although she was not twelve yet (she would be in two months), she had a good understanding of the outside world. She could tell that the car was not cheap just by looking at its exterior, so she was extremely gentle while sitting in it, in fear that she would accidentally damage something. She also knew how to greet as she said to Su Ying's dad, who was in the driver's seat, ”Hi, sir.”

The moment Su Kuang saw Shen Xiaoling, he thought she was an intelligent girl, just as delightful as his own daughter. He smiled and replied, ”You are Shen Xiaoling, right? Hi to you, too.”

Then Hong Xiaofu also hopped into the car and greeted, ”Evening, sir.”

”Hello.” The three of them sat quickly. He locked the doors and started the engine as he spoke, ”Let's go. I really have to thank you. If not for you, my daughter would probably have to wait longer before she could be Awakened. Please, don't hold yourself back today, eat your hearts out and have anything you want!”
