Chapter 46: True face of the system (1/2)

Lucien slightly turned and coldly gazed at the space behind him, leaving people confused, since they couldn't understand why he would stop forging midway and gaze at the space behind. While everyone in the class was confused, Lucien was fearlessly steering down the massive blue reptilian eyes within the darkness. Even without been told, he could notice the existence within the system, hiding as a helper.

”I understand…” the system spoke up for the first time.

He watched the eyes close as the dark mist behind him vanished as well.

”Hmph!” Lucien scoffed as he returned to the forging table and once again summoning his lightning and wind element, as well as the Raizen God beast trait before pushing them towards the black blade at the center of the formation.

”Now this is where the main work starts” Lucien muttered as he first used his mana to carve magic circuits to help allow mana flow in the magic weapon. He went ahead to carve the forging seal on the hilt of the blade there sealed the two elements and Raizen traits.

Wooosh!

The formation let out an extremely bright glow and after a few seconds everything died down, leaving behind an exhausted Lucien and the black dagger

”Ouch!” Lucien staggered back as he felt light-headed and weak.

DING!

[Forging successful]

[Low grade magic weapon forged]

[Stamina: 6]

[Charisma: 20]

[Mana: 1/10]

[Exp: 570/800]

[Condition: Dire]

[Host's strength is been suppressed by some godly power. Until this power is dispelled, hosts stats will be halved]

[Host is exhausted and is advised to rest as soon as possible]

”Damn…” Lucien muttered as he gazed at his stats, he could see his mana had gone down and his stamina was also drained. Realizing his stamina stat was still at six points and considering the path he wishes to follow, Lucien knew he would need to increase this stat as soon as possible.

”I can't go around passing out after forging one piece of equipment” Lucien muttered weakly as he staggered backward while watching instructor Fei Lin rush over to check out the black dagger.

While many were impressed, Lucien wasn't. He had seen the peak of forge mastery and he could tell that it was more advanced than this. He only created a low-grade magic weapon because his body was also a limitation. He is too weak.

'The Raizen clan Heirloom and even the Phoenix clan Heirloom alongside the sacred weapons of other high-level noble families in the empire are only rated mid-grade but in higher tiers… my first creation should be a low-grade weapon but at the mid-tier, it's not too bad for a start' Lucien muttered inwardly as he considered a few things.

He could hear, Instructor Fei Lin talking loudly about his success, maybe asking a few questions but all Lucien could hear are mumbles and sounds he couldn't comprehend.

[Soul imprint complete]

[Give your weapon a name]

'Soul imprint without me touching it? Or is this a special feature of the system?' Lucien questioned.

”As for a name, I guess I will call it the wind creek dagger” Lucien said with a weak smile. He chose this name because the main feature of the blade relies on the power of the Raizen God beast. But since he didn't want to use the name is carelessly, he chose to go with the lowest level of the Raizen God beast

[Name recorded]

[Wind creek dagger]

[+3 strength]

[Durability 10/10]

[Abilities]

[Charge: Summons lighting at the blade of the dagger, granting the user greater piercing power]

[Flow: Host conceals the blade of his weapon using the wind element!]

[Roar: Utilizing his command, the user lunges forward in a straight line with greater piercing power and movement speed to deal a lethal blow to the enemy]

[Host has run out mana and stamina… System shut down]

Just as soon as the last message appeared, Lucien wasn't even given the chance to make a sound, instead, he blacked out and fell to the ground, hard.
