Both Athena and Kayn left the throne room under the shocked gazes of the Guards, including General Ruth. They were surprised to see Kayn clothes which only meant he was accepted as a bodyguard. How could some low-level warrior qualify to be a bodyguard of the princess, this was simply a joke under normal circumstances! Athena gave a small bow to general Ruth and continued onward, Kayn didn't even look at Ruth and followed behind Athena. This made Ruth a bit annoyed seeing how arrogant Kayn was acting.

Kayn had already talked to Athena about training and she opted to head to the training grounds. This was her private training area, away from other young members of her clan. The younger generation of her clan usually hung around the training grounds to practice, it was especially packed with the upcoming tournament approaching. Under several surprised gazes, they eventually made it to her private training ground. The training ground was huge, there were 5 arenas in the training ground that resembled the Cell games tournament rings.

”I am not dressed appropriately to train. I will go to the gear cabin over there to change into some battle clothes.” There was a small warehouse that contained battle armor and other weapons for combat in it.

”Cool, once you get out, I will test your strength to see where you're at.” Kayn could roughly guess Athena power level, it lingered around 60 to 90 million or so, which was pretty weak according to the clan's standards. Athena nodded and rushed off the Mini-storage to change.

”Hmm, I should test her by letting her fight some Puppets or Golems.” Kayn brought up the interface and like always, the categories popped up.

Kayn immediately clicked Miscellaneous Items, the category showed Elixirs, Battle puppets, and many other things. Kayn immediately bought 5 battle puppets that didn't have any power levels. These were customizable puppets that required an individual to insert their Ki into to give them a power level, with Kayn's strength he could easily power one up to the billions or the trillions.

”Each of these puppets cost me 20,000 System points each. If this had been back in the day, I would be complaining about how pricey they were.” Kayn shook his head and began to power up each puppet, he could also give them the Techniques he knew and even let them use his Ki Law innate abilities. Kayn couldn't help but think that if he were to get a bunch of these, then who could challenge him?

”Good, they're complete. Each one has their own color scheme with different fighting abilities and fighting styles.” Kayn strengthened all of the puppet's power levels to 100 to 120 million each. They all have different colors as well. The colors were red, blue, purple, white, and black, Kayn then put them away except the white puppet since he wanted her to fight it first.

After about 10 minutes the princess finally came out, she wore armor this time. It both black and red armor, this was the tradition color that the Pheonix clan wore so Kayn remained unmoved, the armor was light armor so she didn't lose any speed.

”This.... What is that thing?” Athena finally came to herself after looking over the flashy puppet.

”Hehe, it is your opponent that you'll have to fight. Let's head to the ring and see just how capable you are. This is a battle puppet, he will test your strength so take this fight seriously.” Kayn grinned and said

”Hmm, okay, I will show you what I've got!” Athena took a big leap and landed on one of the arenas. ”Bring it!” Athena yelled out. Kayn nodded and the puppet moved swiftly to the arena, Kayn had given this puppet some of his moves to use against her.

”Athena, once again, you may wanna take this seriously, this puppet is no joke!” Kayn warned

”Hmph, like I could lose to some puppet, I take all my fights seriously!” Athena sneered at the puppet who had a blank expression, but strangely a light flickered in its eyes which caught Athena off guard. ”Um Kayn, is this puppet alive or something? I mean, can it feel emotions?” Athena was spooked

”Hehe, funnily enough, they can indeed understand words, so be careful what you say.” Kayn was amused, he learned that these puppets can indeed understand what you're saying or trying to imply, he knew from his sparring match with puppet back on his planet, that boxing puppet.

”Interesting, then if you know what I am saying, then you know I will defeat you here and now!” The puppet didn't say anything and only stared at Athena like an idiot, there seemed to be disdain in its eyes. ”You dare to disdain me! I will send you to death you little doll!” She couldn't believe a puppet actually disdained her, who made these damn things!?

”Okay, relax. This isn't a fight to the death. Whoever is knocked out of this huge ring loses, it's that simple.” Athena didn't see a problem with that and agreed to these terms.

”The match will start in 5...4...3....2,...1 Fight!” As soon as he said that both the puppet and Athena slammed into each other creating a shockwave. The power level of this Puppet wasn't that high but it had some good moves or should I say, tricks.
