Lisa stopped his wanton advances by placing her hands on his mouth and blocking him from kissing her. She was sitting on his lap, and her face was next to him. There was something hard beneath her butt. She knew it was his erection. However, she acted like she failed to notice it.
Lisa looked into Elliot's eyes and said in a harsh voice, ”I have something important to talk to you about, so stop bullying me.”
Only after saying that did she take back her hands that were getting licked by Elliot.
”I am always ready to hear you out, so say it. What do you want to talk about?” Elliot said while moving his finger through her red hair and admiring her beauty. Lisa was one of the most beautiful women. However, once her face turns red, her freckles appear like the bright star in the night sky, extremely attractive. The charm of her face doesn't pale in comparison to the milky way. Elliot even thought that naming her the most beautiful wouldn't be the wrong thing to do.
”Remember Johanna?” Lisa asked.
”I do.” Elliot nodded.
Johanna was the semi-owner of the artifact gallery and the daughter of Magic King Aiden. She was also Lisa's best friend, and they were almost like sisters to each other. Actually, their relationship was more stringer than that. To save her from the perverted hands of Agnes, Lisa had asked him to marry her, and he had agreed. They had even signed the deal on the magic contract.
Although it had been three years, he still remembered her.
It wasn't because she was beautiful, but because her parents weren't there for her, and her family, society, and the magician community had abandoned her just like the past him.
Lisa continued, ”For the past two weeks, her life has been like a living hell. Three weeks ago, a Magic King gave his treasure to the artifact gallery so that they could appraise it. Two weeks ago, he came to the artifact gallery and demanded it back.
”Johanna went to get it, but it was no longer where she last put it. The CCTV and advanced recording devices didn't catch anyone except her getting close to it. She tried to hide it from the Magic King, but he found out anyway. His artifact was no longer in the artifact gallery. When he found that out, he went crazy and started wreaking havoc. Johanna's father, Lord Aiden, and the Charlotte family interfered, and only then did the Magic King let it go.
”However, he left saying that he would hold Johanna responsible and that he would teach her the last lesson of her life if they ever crossed paths.
”Even though she had nothing to do with the disappearance of the Magic King's artifact, everyone held her responsible, including her father. Johanna had to use 10% of her wealth and 2% of her shares to compensate the Magic King.
”A week ago, a similar accident happened, and now she is under the threat of losing her position as the vice-chairman of the artifact gallery and also under the threat of getting attacked by a Magic King and a Magic Lord.
”Her parents and magician family are also threatening to disown her if she doesn't get married to Agnes. If my beautiful sister married that inhumane bastard, she would die without a body.”
Elliot sighed, ”Your family members are really treacherous; plotting day and night and scheming against others is all they can think of every day.”
According to him, the Charlotte family and Lord Aiden were behind the disappearance of the two artifacts, which belonged to two different powerful magicians. There was even a possibility that the Male Magic King and the Female Magic Lord were paid actors hired by the Charlotte Family to trouble Johanna.
