Chapter 148: A Secret Compartment! (1/2)

Elliot breathed raggedly; his heart throbbed in excitement, but his body quivered in pain each time he did so. Heck, even his hair was wet as if he had just taken a shower, and he was sweating profusely from every part of his body. Not a single spot on his body was left untouched by the pain he just experienced. From the twitching of his veins to the lungs that squeezed tightly to suck in oxygen, each part of his body showed traces of the torture he had to endure to advance to a realm never heard of before in the magician community.

Worst of all, he felt a golden line of lava stretching from the center of his right palm to the top of his shoulder of the very hand he uses to do a lot of things.

Feeling so much heat in his arm was painful, nearly unbearable, but knowing that the reason for that pain is what allows him to store 1100 units of energy in his body and emit energy as well made him happy.

Elliot's eyes opened into narrow slits, revealing glints of joy. In this world, the maximum energy capacity a magician can have after opening all their channels was no more than 1000-1100 units, depending on whether a magician has nine energy channels or ten. True, by using artifacts that can merge with the body and increase the maximum energy capacity, a magician can artificially gain an increase. But it's not like such artifacts were common. Before coming to this place, he didn't know such artifacts even existed. Therefore, it was safe to say that his energy capacity stood above everyone here and nudged a unit below the grandmaster realm!

He said before releasing a cold breath. What followed was quite picturesque; hundreds of strands of spiritual energy solidified into a form visible to the eyes, blue waves that illuminated the hazy shadows in the brightness of the ocean.

They rushed towards Elliot as if pulled by the force of a black hole, then they entered his mouth one by one, charging straight towards the golden line in his right arm, seeping into it and coming to a halt.

He could feel a tremendous amount of power hiding underneath the surface of his right arm!

This newfound feeling in his right arm made him feel anything but human.

The smile on his face widened as he stood up, raised his right hand then poured spiritual energy out of his palm as naturally as breathing. He didn't need to do anything much to pour energy out of his palm.

The celestial energy channel regulated everything for him, did all the work for him.

He merely willed to push out 500 units of spiritual energy outwards, and as if the golden line in his arm was connected to him spiritually, it guided the demanded amount out of the center of his palm at the same time.

BAM! A blast of blue surged out of his palm and slammed on the wall so hard the entire reverberated with a booming sound, and he could feel the ground beneath his feet vibrating!

”Holy Cow!”

Elliot's lips parted in shock.

The wall that he wasn't able to destroy,

now that wall has shattered apart as if struck by a rocket train!

Out came sparkly bright rays of lights.

A single look at them caused Elliot to feel excitement crawling up to his neck!
