Chapter 59: Appraisers Examination Room (b) (2/2)

Oh, how wrong she is!

Lisa dryly laughed, whispering words of apologies in Elliot's ears, and she then started to cheer him up.

Johanna rolled her eyes, unable to understand why her arrogant and bossy young miss has fallen head over heel for a man. She interrupted them by saying, ”Do you understand?”

”Yes, I do.” Elliot nodded his head and smiled when he saw a resting bitch expression on her face

”Is that all?”

”Yes,” said Johanna. ”Take your time.”

He lowered his head, looking at the one of the items placed on the table with the intent to know everything about it, and in the time it takes for a person to blink their eyes, every bit of information about the artifact popped up in his mind, becoming a part of his memories.

His smile widened as he not only obtained the name, uses, and description of the artifact but also its histories and everything about it.

”I'm done appraising it.” Elliot placed his hand on the table and said, attracting the attention of the redhead and the brunette.

”What? So fast? It's only been less than a minute yet you dare proclaim that you're done?! Are you joking with me? Even our best appraisers can only find out the name of an artifact in that time and they need around an hour to determine the uses of an artifact!” Johanna's pretty eyes widened in surprise, and the unwavering expression on her face evaporated in thin air as she found it hard to believe that this mysterious person managed to appraise three items within merely a few seconds.

”Little girl, it looks like you don't believe the words of this Joker. So, let me make you believe in them!” Elliot said, posing like an arrogant and powerful man, and he then picked up one of the three items before saying, ”This piece of metal looks no different than iron, but it is an anti-gravity Artifact. Once a magician pours magic energy into it, it will undoubtedly levitate. One can use it to create an aircraft that runs solely on magic energy! Moreover, it belongs to the ruined Dwarf Civilization, and it also has many others uses. Give me a pen and a paper and I will list them out for the VVIP customer.”

”Ah, yes.” Johanna felt so awed and amazed by his words and imposing aura that she forgot to verify his words and spoke without thinking for even a moment. Not only that, she did what he told her to do. She took out a pen and a sheet from her spatial device and handed them over to the mysterious man that has overwhelmed her senses.

”This will take a while,” Elliot said, knowing full well that it will take several minutes to write every detail of the Anti-Gravity Meteorite.

Johanna said in a respectful voice, ”Take as much time as you need, mister.”

”Sure,” Elliot said, and he then started to jot down everything about the artifact on the sheet, and after he was with it, he handed it over to Johanna.

”You are done? So fast?” Johanna said, once again shocked out of her wits.

Normally, an appraiser needs a few hours to rummage through their memories and write everything about an artifact on a sheet of paper; however, the mysterious person in front of her did the same, and that too in several minutes.

What the hell?

Simply conceivable!
