Kaoruko smiled at him, ”Well, I will start my sleep story, so listen carefully.”

”I am all ears,” Yuuki said.

”Then...” Kaoruko started her story.

The Tale of Genji centers on the life and love of a handsome son, Hikaru Genji, born to an Emperor during the Heian Period.

In the story, the beloved concubine of the Emperor gives birth to Genji and dies soon after. Raised within the Royal Family, Genji has his first illicit affair with Fujitsubo, the young wife of the Emperor. She gives birth to a boy who was raised by the unknowing Emperor as his own son. Although feeling guilty because of this affair Genji goes on to have numerous other affairs with other court ladies including Utsusemi, Yugao, Murasaki-no-ue, and Hanachirusato. At one point, Genji's adultery with a lady of the opposite faction results in his being exiled for a period to Suma After a short time, he returns to the capital, where he rises further in status and position being appointed to high official ranking reaching the apogee of his career. However, his newlywed young bride, Onna-Sannomiya, has an illicit affair that results in a child, Kaoru, reminding Genji of his own similar past actions. Then Murasaki-no-ue, Genji's real love and wife, in fact, if not in law, of more than twenty years, passes away. Left in deep despondence Genji decides to leave the capital to enter a small mountain temple.

Yuuki understood that this was one of the most important stories in history since this was the first novel that had been written in this country, no, even in this world, Genji Monogatari was considered as the first novel in the world. He sipped the coffee and said calmly, ”This is the story of scumbag that gets karma.”

Though this story felt like his story in his past world only he didn't have any girls to cheat on him.

”That's true,” Kaoruko also nodded at him.

”Then what do you want me to do? I don't think I can help you with this research,” Yuuki said.

”From my story earlier which character do you like?” Kaoruko asked.

”I don't know,” Yuuki said.

”Well, my favorite is Lady Murasaki, raising an abandoned child to the type of mate you'd like, don't you think that's the best type of love out there?” Kaoruko said.

”Nope,” Yuuki said.

”Hmm? Why? Don't you want a perfect lover?” Kaoruko asked with confusion.

”There is no perfect lover out there, rather than making someone into your perfect lover, I have rather tried to love their shortcoming and it will be pretty boring to have such predictable lover, love is an adventure and I am a hunter, I will conquer it and eat those ingredients,” Yuuki said with a slight smile.

(Note: 'Eat' in this has double meaning both literal and sex).

Kaoruko chuckled after hearing his answer. She looked at him and said, ”You're very interesting.”

”Well, thank you,” Yuuki said.

”Can you help me become part of my research?” Kaoruko asked again.

”And how will I do it?” Yuuki asked again.

”First, close your eyes,” Kaoruko said.

Yuuki closed his eyes as she had told him.

Yuuki was stupefied when he felt something soft and warm on his lips. He opened his eyes and saw her kissing his lips, 'Is this woman a sexual deviant?'
