”I was quite surprised,” Kaoruko said, sipping a tea, ”I thought a man like you would know about a Genji Monogatari.”
”Hmm, I guess I don't have that much interest in literature,” Yuuki said.
”Then what is your interest?” Kaoruko asked.
”Well, it is cooking, dungeon, and...” Yuuki paused his answer for a bit and said, ”You.”
Kaoruko smiled at him, ”My, you really forward aren't you? I don't hate it though.”
”I think you misunderstood something,” Yuuki said.
”Hmm?” Kaoruko looked at him.
”Well, I have to agree that you're a very charming woman, but I don't have any interest in you that way,” Yuuki said.
Kaoruko looked surprised, ”Are you swinging that way?”
Yuuki twitched his lips at her and sighed, ”No, I am normal, but I don't have a mood to take your joke right now when my sister just has an incident, maybe you can come back a few days later and I can flirt with you,” He said with a tired smile.
”I am sorry,” Kaoruku knew that she had talked too much.
”Don't worry,” Yuuki said.
Neither of them said anything until he broke the silence.
”I heard you're a researcher?” Yuuki asked.
”Yes,” Kaoruko nodded.
”Then are you researching this 'Genji Monogatari'?” Yuuki asked.
”Yes, you're very smart,” Kaoruko praised him.
”Do you think I am stupid?” Yuuki raised his eyebrow.
”No, I am just teasing you,” Kaoruko said.
”Ok, I give up, what do you want?” Yuuki said.
”Well, straight to the point, women will hate it,” Kaoruko said.
”And some women will love it,” Yuuki replied.
”I guess that's true,” Kaoruko nodded and said, ”It is simple, I want you to help me with my research.”
”?” Yuuki titled his head and didn't understand how he could help her on this research, ”I don't have that much interest in this Genji Monogatari, I don't even know anything.” He didn't mind to help her since she had helped him to take care of his nieces.
”Well, before that, I will tell you about the Genji Monogatari,” Kaoruko said.
”Sure, do you want a coffee?” Yuuki felt that he needed a coffee to listen to this story.
”Thank you,” Kaoruko nodded. She felt that he insulted her in a very soft way, though, she didn't mind and made her become more interested in him. She saw his graceful figure that prepared a coffee drip for both of them.
”Here you go,” Yuuki gave her a cup of coffee.
”Thank you,” Kaoruko sniffed the smell of this coffee. She could smell the fresh beans, flowers, and some taste of cocoa. She sipped it and her taste bud was spoiled by the rich, full body, and medium acidity of this coffee, ”What kind of coffee is this?”
”This is Blue Mountain, one of the most popular coffees in the world, ”Yuuki had found it earlier in the kitchen and decided to make it for both of them. He looked at her and said, ”I am ready for your sleep story.”
”Are you going to sleep?” Kaoruko asked.
