”Why do you think I went out with you? I knew you weren't related to me..” Lethia caressed his face with her hands. ”Zepher, come back to me.”

”Did you call me here for this?” the only reason why he came here was because of the note she sent him. Zepher thought he could use this opportunity to discuss Lyn's matter with him. That's why he came here. Otherwise, Zepher wouldn't have come here at all. There is a good reason why he does not want to associate with this woman anymore.

”I did,” Zepher felt Lethia undo the collar of his clothing, slowly unbuttoning his shirt. ”Zepher, you haven't missed me?”

Despite the girl's sweet words, Zepher sensed how sensual the atmosphere was turning. A deep sigh passed his lips. Unlike the past, he was no longer naive. He could tell what she was trying to do here. The entire room reeked of a sweet scent. A deep sigh passed his lips, well it seems like Lethia has learned how to trick men.

Zepher bent down and picked up his discarded clothes when he felt Lethia wrap her arms around him from the back. ”Go back to sleep.”

”Zepher, you won't stay?”

”I have no need.”

”Your so stingy, you slept with me, but that's it, huh?”

A bitter smile appeared on his face. ”Sleeping with another person is nothing new to me. Do you know what I had to do to survive?” even now, the heavy feeling from those times has yet to disappear. For a while, he had to sell himself just so he could earn money for a bite of bread, to have a roof over his head. Later on, he got tired of it and decided to steal for a living.

”I know you went through a lot, that's why I want to make it up to you now,” she brushed her lips against his ear. ”Become my King, Zepher.”

Even when he slept with her just a few moments ago, his face remained indifferent. Since he entered this place, he was indifferent. But now, his expression shifted. The girl's words didn't move him, but instead, he was shocked.

Become her King?

He doesn't understand what this woman is thinking. After everything that has happened, she wants him to be his King? She tricked him. Fair enough, maybe she was lonely and needed somebody.

Over the last few years, he's dealt with many women and learned a lot. Lethia resembled those lonely girls. That's why he decided that he wouldn't blame her. The only reason he is bitter is because she abandoned him when he needed help.

”You're ridiculous.”

”Zepher, I'm serious about you.”

”I heard that you're going against Lyn because you're after her boyfriend?”

Lethia bit her lip and shook her head, ”You misunderstand about Kazuya. It's just his upbringing is so good, it's a waste to leave him with Lyn. I don't love him like I do you.”

Hah, so she does love Lyn's boyfriend. What a pathetic woman. But then again, he is one to talk. He is the one who went out with this pathetic woman, this sorry excuse for a human being. ”A waste? What's wrong with Lyn? She is still Queen Orthez's daughter. In fact, her status should be higher than you since she is the current King's daughter.”

Indeed the current children of the throne are prioritized more than those the Queen had with other partners. That's why it was so important for the Queen to have many husbands.

The only reason why Andrew and Lethia were considered candidates was because of Lyn's situation. But, if people learn that those rumors about Lyn are false, then they will think differently.

He scanned Lethia's expression and noticed it. She's afraid. So, she understands it too. If Lyn becomes serious, then it's all over for her. No, Lyn has already started. Otherwise, why else would she come crying to him like this?

”Zepher, you have to help me. That woman is crazy.”

”No.”

”I didn't know she had that many contacts... How come? Even though the security in her place...”

Zepher sighed, ”Andrew probably loosened the security, so she could go out whenever she wanted. You didn't realize this at all, because he acted indifferent towards her.”

It probably wasn't just Andrew but Queen Orthez too. However, it doesn't seem like Lethia has realized that just yet. A deep sigh escaped his lips, ”You don't have to be afraid of Lyn. I plan to take her with me.”

Lethia's eyes brightened, but then she looked down, ”Why can't you send her away? You should stay here with me.”

Why is she still insisting on him? He doesn't know how to react to this anymore. Is she genuinely serious about this? Or is this simply due to her fear of Lyn? But, if he is going to take her away, then why is she still insisting?
