”Rhys, your acting strange. Do you need my help?” Lyn asked.

”When I'm not with you, I'm insecure. Could you come see me when you're free?” Rhys knew it was an unreasonable request.

”Okay,” Lyn nodded. ”I will.”

Huh? Just like that? Lyn laughed, ”Um, I mean you did ignore me for so long, and I told you I missed you too. So I wanted to make up for the loss of time.”

”Is Kazuya okay with that?” Rhys didn't want to bring him up again. However, he really wanted to compete with his friend fairly.

Lyn nodded, ”Un, as long as you don't touch me.”

Rhys looked at her with a serious expression, ”Are you stupid? Why would I agree to that?”

”Then I won't come to see you.”

This girl---! She's more sly than he thought. Rhys sighed, ”What do you mean by no touching? I can't even hold your hand?”

Lyn paused and shook her head, ”You can but..”

”How about this?” Rhys said as he tucked the girl's hair behind her ear.

”T--this is a bit weird.”

”I'm just tucking your hair behind your ear,” Rhys mumbled.

”Well, uh,” he could tell Lyn was having a hard time deciding, so Rhys drew his hand back. If he behaves more like a gentleman, she would be happy, right? Indeed, right after he pulled her hand back, her cheeks turned slightly red, and she laughed.

”I think it's okay.”

So, acting like a gentleman works? No wonder she fell for her fiance, that guy is a gentleman. But then why does she like Kazuya so much? That guy has no manners at all. Rhys ran his hand through his hair; he still felt sweaty and wanted to take a bath. But he didn't want his time with Lyn to be cut short.

Lyn looked curiously at him before her face turned red, ”So uh, just now..”

Just now? It took a few minutes to understand what she meant. ”You heard?”

”Yes, so,” Lyn took a deep breath. ”I want you to stop.”

”Stop?”

”Ah-huh, I know there is nothing between us. But I can't take your words seriously if you do things like this.”

He knows that, and that's why he really has stopped. It was just today - Lyn caught him at a bad time.

Beth was right; he didn't even sleep with those girls he keeps bringing over to the castle. ”What is it in it for me? I'm a guy. I have my needs. Are you telling me you can fulfill it?”

”I can't,” Lyn said sharply.

”Then, don't ask.”

He didn't want to fight with her. But isn't she being unreasonable? How could she make that request when they are only a subject and his Princess?

”Rhys, are you sure your serious?”

”Of course, I am.”

”Then, think. Would you like it if I slept around with other men despite having feelings for my partner?”

Rhys paused and thought about it; she made a valid point there. He wouldn't like it, just the thought of it irritated him. ”Alright, but tell me what we can do first.” The last few weeks his self-control has been breaking after all. That's why he stayed far from the castle.

”We can cuddle.”

At that comment, his eyes twitch in annoyance, ”Leave already!!”

”It's okay Rhys, cuddle.”

Damn this woman, why is she like this? Is that why she was okay when he hugged her earlier? He really doesn't know how to deal with her.

Rhys did not know how he got her on the bed, but since he did. He used it to his advantage, but unfortunately...

”Mmmmgh...A--alright Rhys, that's enough..” she covers his mouth with her hand, cheeks red due to embarrassment. ”C--cut it out!”

”You..” Rhys was in utter disbelief. He thought she liked it when he was kissing behind her ear.

”Aha, I'm sorry. I came to my senses at the last moment. Um, wasn't that strange? Etto, we never go that far.”

”You can't just expect me to come this far and then stop, that's just criminal !” he buries her head in her b.r.e.a.s.ts.

”Uwah, um, um! Wait stop, if you stop I'll buy you some food.”

The heck, Rhys sighed and pulled away from her. He genuinely felt frustrated, ”Do you really just want to stop at cuddling?”

”I'm in a relationship with Kazuya, Rhys.. So..”

She has a fiance too. People are already calling her a two-timer. While it's normal to have more than one partner, she isn't married yet, so, for now, it merely looks immoral. Lyn isn't doing anything wrong though.

She has no romantic relationship with Prince Allen. But others think so. This was one of the main reasons why he held back his feelings for her.

”We can cuddle,” Lyn repeated.

”The hell? Leave,” Rhys buried his head under the covers, and she blinks. Is he sulking? Yes. He thought he could make her change her mind.

Lyn crawls back onto the bed and hugs him tightly.

”So, are you doing this on purpose?”

Lyn looked at him, confused.

”Gee...just leave if you don't want to do anything,” Rhys mumbled.

”It's okay Rhys; we can cuddle !”

He turned around and sighed in defeat, and she snuggles up to him, as his arms wrapped around her. ”I don't get it when you do this,” Rhys wanted to ask Lyn a question.

Rhys stopped seeing her after that day because of his respect towards Kazuya. But also, 'Is it just his imagination? It feels like Lyn likes him.'
