Lyn realized how he had watched her while she was sniffing the scarf, and her grew hot. ”So I am curious about that scarf. That's the scarf that was sent as a package, is there a particular meaning to it?”

A particular meaning…it was Kazuya's. However, she felt like she shouldn't say his name in front of this person.

”Oh, I know it's from Rhys?”

Lyn shook her head, ”It's not…”Lyn trailed off, ”Excuse me, but why are you here?”

”Reiji's gone somewhere so for a while it's just us two. I see your studying; you're not a student, though.”

Lyn looked away, ” I just wanted to check on something.” Lyn didn't know how much this one knew, so she didn't want to risk anything.

”Even so how can you spend so long in a place like this? Isn't it exhausting?”

”Um…Narumi haven't you been to an educational institute before?” Lyn asked. She had heard from Reiji only a little about the pale blonde hair boys past.

Shu's face was suddenly close to hers. ”Ehhh that won't do Lyn didn't I say to call me my first name?”

Wait, Lyn? Being called so informally. It's a good thing Pupillam isn't with her.

So close…even though he had a gentle-looking face. Lyn really felt fear around him. She felt like there was something to be feared about him. The Snow Kingdom Knights, huh? Even this cheerful person in front of her has a strong and menacing aura. His words and actions are childish, but there is something about this person.

”Well, what do you want me for? I'm busy.”

”Oh, your mentor keeping you busy?”

”Huh?”

Shu grinned, ”Your mentor said that he only assigned you this task because he figured that you were trying to stay out of everybody's way. Since I have no time to complete this myself, I'll give it to her.”

Lyn looked at Shu puzzled, but the words made sense, especially the last part. That lazy guy, the next time she sees him, he will get it.

”I understand, so what are you doing here?” Lyn was looking at him cautiously. He is still a member of the Snow Kingdom Knights, a group that has not left a favorable impression on her. A group that serves that tyrant young King. The reason why the country is in shambles, is it not because of how the King and his Knights run this place?

”If possible, I wanted to talk to you alone.”

Alone?

”About Kazuya.”

”Huh?”

Time seemed to stop for her, and Lyn put the book down. About Kazuya?

What does he mean? Lyn recalled what Reiji said about Kazuya and Rhys being dangerous. Is it about that?
