Their levels have changed drastically. While I was here in the palace they were dealing with a civil war. Well, minus Inival. Ravel and Farblight have gained quite a few levels. Farblight had to deal with a lot of traitorous nobles. Meanwhile, Ravel was executing. hundreds and maybe even thousands of captured traitors. The Experience that humanoids provide is much larger than wolves or treants. People in levels 20 and higher give thousands of points as well.

Farblight and Drun kneel in front of me. Drun still has body parts tied to his robes..... I look at the top of Farblight's head since she is bowed down. Her blonde drill twintails are there as well. She must have dyed them after the conversion at some point since the conversion had changed the color of her hair.

”Gin, all that's left is the conversion. We modified the bracelet that the Union Head gave to us. Here.” Ravel

Ravel has a serious and expectant look on her face as she hands me the bracelet. Lots of sharp red and black gems are attached making the artifact look 'edgy'..... I take it and follow Ravel. She seems to be excited based on the pep in her steps. I test the artifact a little and I get a reaction..... Hopefully this turns out well..... Going along the corridors which are now decorated with spider tapestries we reach some stairs.

After going up them we reach a massive set of doors which opens up to the top of the palace. The door has giant intricate carvings that pulse a faint white. Inival steps forward and pushes them open.

”Gin, we have a lot of drow gathered out in the capital. You can leave the announcing and stuff to me. All you need to do is try and use the bracelet and ring together to try and convert everyone here. We somehow managed to pack the whole population into the capital after we started shoving people into the sewers and waterways.” Ravel

.....Wow..... Okay.

We all walk onto a massive balcony overlooking the Capital. Ravel steps forward and makes her presence known with a shout. Inival is standing next as the rest of us stay back and out of sight. Drun and Farblight have an expectant look on their faces. My broodmothers followed along and they are a bit different. Kess looks bored and continues to drink the silver energy coming off herself. Vulki is sitting on the floor and pushing her cheeks with her hands. It seems that she is thinking of something as she has a very happy grin on her face. Her wings flutter a bit. Set is quiet as usual. She is probably looking for potential threats.

”MY CITIZENS. Our species is a unique one. However, we are unnatural. That is why we are a theocracy instead of a kingdom, to have a god convert us into elves, as our ancestors were. The reason I had everyone in the kingdom forcefully brought here is to accomplish that goal in a short amount of time. As you can see, I am no longer a drow along with Inival here. A great being has descended for Sillith to grant us our wish.” Ravel

Descended? What's that about? A lot of shouts come from below. Some angry, some joyful. Hmm.... She is whispering something.

”Gin, can you try to convert all of these drow here? We have one shot at it. The artifact will break afterwards..... Hope to hell it works.... Otherwise we'll have to start converting drow on an individual basis.....” Ravel

I start pumping mana into my ring, the bracelet which I'm holding against my ring starts glowing orange and blue. A lot of force builds. The bracelet starts letting out cracking noises as arks of electricity shoot between my ring and the bracelet.

*Boom

Shit!

*Bang

Ahhhh.... Wh-?.... The energy erupted from my ring crazily sending me crashing back into the door at the staircase. Looking forward, an orange and blue mist lays in the air.

”Master! Are you alright!?!? I'll heal you!” Set

Set is a bit panicked.

”I'm fine, just a bit stunned is all. Is- is it working?” Gin

The others seem to have heard me and they look relieved. I sneak over to the edge of the balcony. What I see leaves me more stunned than what just happened.
