After that..... Ravel spent a couple days in her room. I was kept in a safe area as I waited. Kess and Vulki found their way in and kept me company along with Inival who has been on edge. Apparently the situation is quite chaotic from what Vulki told me. She has seen quite a few things from above. Soldiers from both sides are mixed into the citizens. It is hard for people to tell friend from foe and the whole situation is a real mess. Hundreds of corpses accumulate each day.

Finally, after waiting for three days, Ravel came out. A weird vomit-like smell is coming from her room.... I ignore that as I focus on her. She has lost a lot of weight and is haggard. Still, a very determined look is plastered on her face. Her eyes look sharp.
”Thanks for waiting, Gin. I've prepared myself. All drow will be converted. I'll make sure of it. The nobles that aren't following Farblight will all be slaughtered. Them, their spawn, their servants. They will become irrelevant. I hope you still will accept me as a broodmother after I finish my work.” Ravel
She no longer has that mischievous and bubbly way of talking. Ravel may recover back to that state or she may stay like this....
”Do you want any help?” Gin
”No, this is something that must be done by me. I will execute those nobles personally.” Ravel
”Will that be fine? You are not-.
”Don't worry. I know that I am weak. I'm bringing out the old royal guard that followed my mother. They can only be brought out when the capital is in a state like this. They all are all at least level 27. They will supress this situation.” Ravel
She takes her leave while draping a cloak over herself. A dozen royal guards follow her as she walks further away. Inival is dumbfounded by this and tells me something interesting.
”That demeanor is the same kind that her mother had. If Ravel's mother wasn't reaching the end of her lifespan, Ravel would never have taken the throne from her.” Inival

We stayed inside the palace for a few more days. During that time, we kept getting reports on the situation. The first day, a lot happened.
-Ravel called out the old royal guard. 216 members came out to suppress the choas in the capital.
-Ravel started capturing rebel nobles and heavily chained them to the walls of the capital to be eaten by birds. Approximately 1/4 of the nobles were dealt with. The rest went into hiding or fled the capital.
-The capital's unrest disappeared as order has been reinstated.
She did a lot in just one day. Looking at the sheer number of old royal guards that came out shocked me to no end. They are all at least level 27..... I seem to have underestimated the drow race. Luckily it seems that they are willing to go through conversion later. It's very odd. They are all willing which I find suspicious until Inival tells me something.
The second day was filled with interesting reports as well.
