This conversation has become weird. Real weird. Especially now that she is giving off a feeling of realization through telepathy.

”Ahem, so back onto the issue of you hating trash. Isn't that natural? I only realized after becoming as I am that the drow race is scum. I would tell you about what I have seen over the years but, I don't want to pollute your mind. The drow in this pocket are bad but..... I've heard rumor that the drow throughout the rest of the world are even worse and are known as 'scourge'.”Vulki

This is my first time hearing about the rest of the world. Obviously this pocket is a small portion of the world. I can only wonder how large it is in its entirety.

Vulki seems to pick up on my interest in the world and I swear.... The smile on her mask got slightly wider.

From what I know human children are born almost as a blank slate. Their latent desires exist. Lust, greed and the like. However, they are not born with the inability to truly care for others. Along with heightened desires.... I have seen a few mentally damaged drow force themselves into believing that they do care about others. However, they either end up sizzling out or exploding. They realize that their 'love' is false and move on..... The other thing that happens is they develop a deep unnatural obsession, usually with a mate.... That never goes well....” Vulki

It seems that the drow are designed to not care for others. This doesn't actually lower my dislike for them but, I can accept their nature. At least a little....

..... She seems to be..... Quite depressed over this. After becoming an arachne she must have experienced feelings that she couldn't have as a drow.... However, I think she realized this stuff long before she became an arachne..... As she said. Drow are designed to be a bad race..... Perhaps I can-

A huge blast rockets sound and shakes the nest causing small stones to jumble around. I give a look to vulki and she nods. We quickly go outside to see a giant dust cloud. It seems to be a good distance away. Set wakes up and goes into high alert as Kess fumbles out of the nest. I start worrying about Xelu. However after a minute I see her come back with the spiderlings and salutes.
