...Why did it have to land in the puddle of goo.....Well.... I pick it up by its corner and start shaking it off. After that I start rubbing the bottom of it on the webs under my feet to get the last of it off.

”Ugghhh, sorry arachne queen?”

I apologize for some reason and focus on what I have. A diary.... I read through it and find some interesting knowledge. Apparently, this is a daughter of some super arachne. She left her mother's nest to set up her own. After a lot of searching she found her soul mate killed all his ehhhh.... Oh god.... a..anyways she set up her nest here with him.

This place is thousands of miles underground and there is a pocket in the earth nearby where there is a drow settlement. She had them feed her.... I don't want to know what.... skip... Anyway it's a lot of her fawning over her husband, blah, blah, spider babies, blah, blah, wait. She mentions something about her system. Nothing I don't know already. Still I'm not the only one with a system, huh.

As I read on it takes a turn from the fluffy crap. A drow poisoned her husband so she ate him to continue his life in her.... what???? Oh no.... this is getting bad.... I think I'll stop here for now as I'm not even halfway through it.... I can kinda guess where it goes.... She got poisoned too and from glancing at later pages she goes even more insane....

I edge away from her corpse and stumble. What'd I trip on? Hmmmm..... Eggs.... About a dozen.

” I wonder if they give....”

As i mumble to myself, I stab one of the eggs and it pops bringing up a transparent subscreen.
