”Do you think that there is someone much more powerful person who is backing them?” Lannie asked. Veronica's family might be full of schemers and greedy people, but she is sure that they have no background associating with the underground world apart from that.

”Possible, and maybe I can find out who it is.” With a problem like this, Nathalia now thinks that skipping her training today might not be such a waste, after all.

Nathalia kept on digging and digging, but no matter how deep she goes, she could not find anything at all, which is more suspicious.

”This is so strange.” She said.

”What's strange.” On the side, Lannie was only watching, and she could not understand anything that she is seeing.

”All I'm seeing is this particular symbol, but when I try and search to where does this symbol belongs to, I always meet dead end. It's strange and suspicious.”

”Is there someone who you can ask about this? Your father might be able to help us.” Lannie suggested. She could ask her parents about it, but she just got a warning from them that she should not do anything unnecessary. She is not actually doing the job personally, but she did forcely made Nathalia to her bidding. All in all, she will get herself in trouble.

”You know what? You are right. My father can help us with this, I will send him this.” As soon as Nathalia send her father the picture of the symbol, her father called her.

She puts the call on speaker, and both she and Lannie can tell the urgency in his tone. ”I want you and Lannie to come to where I am now. There is no time to waste!” The call ended right after he said that. Leonardo did not even gave the girls the time to reply.

”Uh... What was that?” Lannie asked confusedly. They only asked if he knew something about it, but they did not imagine his reaction would be like that. ”Do you think that we're in some kind of trouble by asking what symbol is that?”

”I don't think we're in trouble, but I do think that we should follow my father's words.” Although confused, Nathalia still follows.

Upon arriving to where Nathalia's father is at, Nathalia and Lannie are more confused at the situation they are at. Stan Robertson, Arion Coleman, and Nathalia's father are in the room all together.

In such a rare sight, one can tell that something serious is about to happen. ”I don't understand, why we are here, Nathalia. I don't even think that we're supposed to be here.” Lannie whispered.

Ever since they have arrived, none of the three gentleman has said anything. The longer the silence continues on, the more Lannie thinks that someone is about to die in front of her. 'I don't think I'm ready to see that.'

”We're here. Can anyone please tell us if we got ourselves into trouble? The silence is kind of making Lannie go crazy.”

”That symbol...” Lannie's father is the first one to speak, ”Where did you two find that?”

As soon as Lannie heard that question, she is debating whether she should tell her father the whole story or not. But in the end, she told him everything. Even if she doesn't, her father will know of it for sure. To save her the trouble of getting scolded later on, she might as well be honest right here, right now.

”I see...” Stan said, then he glances at Arion's direction. ”Do you want me to handle this, Arion?”

”Not right now. I want to visit them first myself, then you can do whatever you want with them.” Coldness was vivid in Arion's tone when he said that.

”Nathalia, don't dive any further about this matter. You should leave everything else to me.” Leonardo declared, but Nathalia seems to be not satisfied with that.

”No, Daddy! Why can't I finish what I started?”
