Chapter 492 - Revenge 493: Were Sick And Was Dying (1/2)
”That's nonsense!” A certain reporter who heard that said. ”I mean look at the corner over there. Aren't they a member of the Coleman family? This must mean that the Coleman family is finally going to announce who will the successor of the family.”
In most rich families, when the successor of the family is going to be announced, most members of the family are not happy about it. And the people who are at a certain corner are definitely not happy. For him, his conclusion made much more sense than the union of the Robertsons and the Colemans.
”Maybe you're right...” Somehow, listening to that reasoning make much more sense.
After a minute of discussing their assumed conclusion, the door burst wide open. Everyone looks in that direction and all of them have all sorts of expressions on their faces. The reporters who have been intently been trying to find any dirt to ruin the Coleman family has this shocked expression on their faces. It has been years since they last saw him, but he is easily recognizable.
”No way. Am I seeing this wrong? Or this is real?”
While some reporters are having a hard time trying to guess who is the man next to Mary. They even got to the point that the man next to Mary is her lover.
The members of the Coleman family, on the other hand, some of them have a scowl on their faces. They are not willing to welcome Arion back
They have no idea what really happened to Arion, and they don't want to know. Arion, who left his responsibilities years ago, should not have been allowed to take over the family business once again.
'How can Marcus let his son take over again? This should not have been allowed.' One of them inwardly said.
Despite all the stares Arion is receiving, it didn't seem to be affected by it at all. From one person's point of view, it seems that Arion is more like ignoring everyone and just waltz his way in front of the crowds.
”Well, isn't this quite a shock to everyone,” Arion said with a smirk plastered on his face. His expression looks so cold, to the point that it sends shivers to everyone who saw it.
If there is one more thing that most people remember about Arion, that would be the fact that he always wears a cold expression whenever he is out in the public. Seeing him in front of them wearing that same expression, all most reporters believe that this man in front of them is the real deal.
Soon after, Arion gave his speech. He told everyone that from here on out, he will be taking over the company once again. ”...since I have a very busy schedule today. I only have less than twenty minutes to answer your questions. So please, start asking now.”
Truthfully, appearing in this press conference is the only schedule Arion has for this day. He only said that so that he can leave this place right away and continue investigating their ongoing mission.
As soon as everyone heard that, the reporters immediately raised their hands up. All of them are desperate for their question to be answered.
Looking around the room, Arion noticed one reporter who doesn't even seem like he is as desperate as everyone else. Having his attention caught by him, Arion points at him and said, ”You, what's your question.”
”Years ago, everyone, including your family, believed that you are dead. So, Mr. Coleman, my question for you is, why did you suddenly disappeared and pretended to be dead? Or is it that you and your family are facing some kind of feud, then they decided to fake your death so that they can get rid of you, is that it?”
In just one glance at this person, Arion can tell that he is not just an ordinary reporter. Aside from wanting answers from him, this reporter has some kind of motives. Arion has no idea what it is, but for now, he would like to know play along with this reporter's game.
”Such nonsense. My family didn't decide on that. In fact, it is me who decided to disappear. As for what reason, I was in an urge of wanting to travel in places that I have never been to.”
Mary silently scoffed at the lie Arion just said to the reporter. Traveling is one of the things that Arion hates the most. If possible, he would like to stay in one place at all times.
The reporter's eyes squinted. From the tone of his voice to his expression, Arion seems to be not lying to them, the reporter is not believing any of Arion's words, there is nothing that he could say to prove it.
