Chapter 485 - Revenge 486: What Are We Gonna Do? (1/2)

”I was gone the whole day yesterday? How can that be?”

”Don't act as you have forgotten about that!” Gloria screamed. She can't stand the fact that everything that she has been suspicious about is the truth and every evidence that she needs is already in front of her. Yet, her husband is acting as if he is clueless about everything.

'What kind of game is he playing at?!' Gloria inwardly asked. Everything is already placed in front of them, and yet her husband is playing games with her.

She doesn't have the time to play games with him. She wants James to be straight with her. If he could just tell her the name of the woman who is endangering her position as James' wife, then she will make her move immediately.

She can't have herself in any tight position. There is still hope for her to go back to high society. And as long as she knows that, she is not letting go of James no matter what.

If her current appearance is not what it is now today, then she won't be hesitating to leave James and find another man that can provide her a better life. If only she has been born with the same face as Mary, she could have gotten whatever that she needs.

As Gloria is about to touch James, James avoided her touch and said, ”I have to go.”

Without saying a word to either to his daughter and wife, he left in a hurry.

His mind is all over the place. He can't believe that he was unconscious for more than a whole day.

From what he can remember is that the nurse told him that he was only unconscious for ten hours straights. Before he's at the hospital, what was he doing and where was he?

So many questions running around his mind, but he is not able to answer them all when he has no clue about what really happened to him. As much as he wants to find the answer right at this moment, he can't because he has to seek that person he missed to meet yesterday.

He needs to explain himself or else, that person is going to leave behind and all of his efforts are all for naught.

Back at where Gloria and her daughter are, Gloria is crashing everything that is on sight. She is so mad to the point that she wants to kill James. He just left without saying anything, not even to his daughter.

James is the type of person who never explains himself, but when the atmosphere is not right, he usually gives her a bit of information about what is going on. Her hope on wanting to believe that there was no other woman has crumbled seeing the way James acted.

”Mom! Just stop!” Sharon shouted. She already hated the house that she is living in, but if her mother keeps on rampaging and dirtying the entire house, she might think of finding a way to escape this place.

She can't stand being in the same place as her crazy mother. And as for her father, she is somewhat disappointed in him. She knew there is no love between her parents, but she has never imagined that either of them could have an affair.

At the very least, she actually thought that it would be her mother who would go on that path. Her father was the last person she could ever think of doing that.

”Stop? You want me to stop? Your father just left us to go meet his other woman without saying a word and yet, you didn't stop him! You just stood there and watch your father leave!” Gloria has this urge to slap her daughter, but she can't do it because of James.

If there is a bruise in any parts of Sharon's body, the first person that James will pour his anger on is her. 'Calm down, Gloria. This girl is stupid. She can't do anything right. Even the common sense of stopping her father, she didn't ever tried of doing it.'

”Why would I ever try to do that? Even if I did, he wouldn't stop and listen to me. There is no point in doing it in the first place.” Sharon replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

”You're unbelievable,” Gloria replied with a scowl and left her daughter alone. She can't deal with Sharon at the moment. It's better for her to leave right away before she could do something so stupid.
