Chapter 484 - Revenge 485: He Was Having An Affair (1/2)

”W-What? What am I doing here?”

James just woke up from his long twenty-four-hour sleep, and when he looks around the room that he is in, he is very confused.

He is also unsure how to react to the situation that he is in. The last thing that he remembered before losing his consciousness is that he is on his way to meet some important people.

As he is about to get off from the bed, someone suddenly barged in. ”I advice you not to get from the bed all of a sudden, Mr. Coleman.”

James looks at that person who just talked to him and he frowned. It's a male doctor. To have a male doctor to come and meet him like this must mean that something bad had happened to him.

'Was I seriously injured? But I don't feel anything painful in any parts of my body.'

”Excuse me, Doctor, what am I doing here? And for how long have I been here?” James asked.

”You've been here for almost ten hours, Mr. Coleman.” Hearing that James is extremely shocked. What shocked him the most is that he is missed the meeting with an extremely important man! ”As for the reason you're here. Well, it seems to me that you've been really stressed out to the point you passed out. I advise you, Mr. Coleman to keep your health in check. And please, don't worry, this hospital made sure that your name won't be leaked out on the public.”

Stressed out? He's here at the hospital, sleeping, for ten hours straight because of stress? 'What kind of nonsense is that?!' James inwardly said.

James glanced at the doctor. From the doctor's expression is doesn't seem like he was joking with him. But there is a part of him that tells him that none of what is happening right now makes any sense.

Before the doctor leaves his room, he told him that the hospital bills were paid by a certain man who saw him lying unconscious on the ground. That statement put a frown on James' face, but soon after, he immediately forgot about it.

As long as his hospital bill has been paid, then there is nothing for him to worry about. After all, he doesn't have enough money to pay for hospital bills. The place he has been thrown at by his family is at the place where he doesn't live a luxurious as he was before and the money that he now is limited.

So far living at such a place is like a hell to him. His wife and daughter kept on complaining and complaining that they can't buy the things that they want and that they are not used to live such a life.

So is he. He feels the same way. He doesn't like the way they are living right now, but what can they do? They are not trusted anymore and the whole Coleman family is looking down on them like dirt.

However, all of that will be over once he and the important person he is supposed to meet with made the deal secure.

James took a look at his phone, however, when he tried to turn it on, it was out of battery and he is starting to get frustrated. 'Damn it! That person must have thought that I ditched him! I can't lose the deal like this just because I collapsed earlier!' James inwardly panicked, then he hurriedly left the hospital.

At a shabby place that James' family is currency staying at, James' wife and daughter are waiting for the man to get home. It has been a day and they have not seen him.

”That is it! I'm going to search for your father!” Gloria announced. She can't stand waiting impatiently for her husband any longer. Her husband said to her yesterday that he is going to meet an important client and will be back soon, but he is still not home.

As time went by while waiting for James to come back home, Gloria is having an imagination that the 'important client' her husband was talking about earlier was a woman.

Gloria doesn't have the love for her husband anymore, but she can't lose him. James is her only way to escape this miserable place. She knows that her husband has a plan to climb up once again, and if she can't pin down her husband and let him fool around and find another woman, there will be no future for her.
