Meanwhile, on Anna's side, Anna is currently playing with Alexandre. Alfonso is watching them intently, and there is something that he noticed. He noticed that Anna's mood is not as great as she was before.

Curious of what happened to her, Alfonso asked, ”Anna, did something bad happened to you? You know that you can talk to me about anything, right?” When there is something that Anna can't say to her family, he would like Anna to share it with him so that he could help her. And with that, he considers it his job.

Anna paused for a minute, then she said, ”Even if it is about Kyle, would you still like to listen to me?” Talking about her love life to a.d.u.l.ts like Alfonso is not something that Anna would like because she feels awkward about it. But her uncle Alfonso is different.

He is not like any other a.d.u.l.t who would just give her advice that she should be careful because she is still too young or that there is no need for her to rush because there are a lot more things she needs to do. No. Alfonso is not like that.

Alfonso actually listens to her and talks to her. The advice that she's received from him helped her understand the other person's point of view.

This time, she wonders if Alfonso can help her understand Kyle's point of view.

”Sure. I have no problem with that.” Alfonso replied immediately. As the matter of fact, Alfonso has been wondering what is the progress between his nephew and Anna, but he did not want to ask about it because he thinks that Anna won't tell, and as for Kyle, it's obvious that he won't get any answer. ”So, what is going between you two now?”

”He won't ask me that stupid simple question.” She understands that it takes so much courage to ask someone out, but after hearing Kyle declared that she is his girlfriend out in the public, Anna thought that Kyle already has enough courage to ask the question.

”What? You want him to question you? I don't get it.” If Anna would have started from the very beginning, Alfonso would not have asked that question. There is a lot of ways to explain things, and yet Anna decided to complain about the main problem which he has no clue about.

Anna sighed before she explains everything from the very beginning. After she ended her story, Alfonso laughed and called her and Kyle 'adorable.' Anna is not even sure if she wants to accept that compliment from him.

Seeing that Anna is sulking, Alfonso stopped laughing and said, ”Kyle might be afraid of the answer that you might say. I mean, that's a common fear that most suitors have when they want to ask that question or any other questions related to that.” His nephew is human, and as a human, Kyle can feel fear even if it is out of his character.

Back when he was still not sure of which s.e.x is he interested in, he was afraid of the answer of the girl he was wooing before because he was not sure of what kind of an answer will he received.

”Then he said those words on the spur of the moment, is that it?” Anna refuses to believe that Kyle said those words just because he is in a situation that he is needed to say. She would not like that. It's making her feel like she is fake.

”Might be similar to that, but I can assure that it is not just about that, okay? Give him a little bit more of time, then who knows? He might be planning something extravagant.” Knowing the affection Kyle has for Anna, Alfonso is sure that Kyle is planning something grand for Anna. Though he got this feeling that it's not gonna go well.

”Uncle, you already know me. I don't care if it is extravagant or simple. I just want him to be him.” Anna is not gonna lie, it will an additional bonus of happiness if Kyle is planning something, but all she wants is him. Simple or extravagant as long as he is present, then there is nothing for her to worry about.

”And I know my nephew. He overthinks things.” When it comes to school-like problems or business-like problems, Kyle can solve it right away. He won't overthink. But when it comes to relationsh.i.p.s, like family, friends, or even towards Anna, Kyle tends to overthink. 'It's funny to know that he is like that.'

”You're really not helping me here, Uncle,” Anna commented with a pouty look plastered on her face. Then she resumed playing with Alexandre.
