Chapter 436 - Revenge 437: That Simple Question (1/2)

”You can scold me later, Grandfather.” As soon as Kyle said that he walks his way towards the exit while pulling Anna alongside him.

Surprised by his sudden action, Anna did not have the time to react from him. And when she is back to reality she realized that she's already inside Kyle's car.

Kyle didn't start the car. They sat in there in silence for a whole five minutes. Anna didn't know what to say, but then she remembered what Kyle said to Veronica before. With that, she revealed a mischievous smile.

”Your girlfriend, huh? Since when did I become one?” Actually, Anna would not mind being Kyle's girlfriend right at this moment. Months have already past by since Kyle started to woo her. She initially thought that she would want Kyle to woo her for a year, but after all the sweet and caring gestures he's been giving to her, Anna has become impatient.

It is too much for her to want Kyle to ask her already?

It did not matter to her if Kyle does a grand gesture or not just to ask her, all she wants is that one simple question throws at her. Without a doubt, she will answer if sincerely and for the days to come.

”She would not stop doubting how special you are to me, so I blurted that out. I'm sorry if that angered you.” He too wants to ask Anna to become his already, but he is not quite sure if that is the right move he should do.

From what he observed from the past months, Anna has been reluctant about entering a relationship. He has been making sure that Anna feels that he is the only he set his eyes for. Despite all that, he still not sure if he had done enough to reassure her.

”Instead of it angering me, it made me happy. I just never thought that you would declare it like that out in the public though.” Anna deliberately hinting Kyle that she wants him to ask the question already. As a matter of fact, she's been trying to get to him to ask her that simple question for these past few days already.

However, it seems that none of the actions that she made has come to fruition. 'Gosh! This is making me look like I'm so desperate for him. Even though I said I would do that sort of thing.'

Hearing her said that what he said earlier was making her happy puts a smile on his face. As eagerly as he is right now, he stopped himself when he suddenly remembered the words Erik said to him not too long ago. 'Kyle, if you want to ask Anna to be your girlfriend, you should at least do something, like a grand gesture. You know, make her feel special or something like that. Put some effort into it. Trust me. Girls love those kinds of things, and Anna like those any other girls who want to be loved.'

At first, when he heard those words from Erik, he is reluctant to believe it because Anna is not like any other girl that Erik is talking about. But right now, he is starting to believe what Erik said is the truth.

'I must do something.' He inwardly said.

”Well, just think of it as me saying that I don't any guys lingering around you.” He said.

The smile in Anna's face froze. Those were the words that she is not expecting. She can't believe that Kyle is much denser than her brother. She's been giving him hints! Every time that she meets up with him, she's giving him hints!

'Why?! Why can't he understand what I'm trying to do here?! I can't believe this!' Anna inwardly cried.

”I-Is that so.”

Inside the cafe, Lannie and her grandfather quietly watch the two people inside the car. It is so convenient for them that Kyle didn't bring his other car which has a black tainted pane. From their position, they can see the expressions Anna and Kyle are making.

”Grandfather, look at Anna's expression. Your grandson must have said something so stupid to Anna.” Lannie may not know what Anna and Kyle were talking about, she can tell that her brother said something to make Anna look so dissatisfied. ”If he keeps doing that, he's going to lose points.” She added.

”Tell me Nathalia, is your brother and Anna are an official couple now?” Elijah asked. As far as he knows Kyle and Anna are not an official couple, but after seeing the two of them interacting with each other, he can't help but second-guessing his thoughts.
