Chapter 371 - Revenge 372: Are You Doubting Your Beauty? (1/2)

”Remind me again why you chose this specific day to have Elizabeth receives her punishment?”

”Zen, I already told you about this a couple of times now. How many more do you want me to tell you about it?” Nathalia asked in an irritated tone. Since yesterday, Zen kept asking why did she choose the pageant event to be Elizabeth's special day, and answered that same question like copy and paste kind of thing.

”It's just that I got this feeling that it ruin Anna's chances of winning.” Not knowing what is exactly going on Elizabeth's mind, Zen is worried that whatever Nathalia and Elizabeth are planing at, it might affect Anna's chances of winning the event.

”If you're worried about that, then don't. I can assure you that it will not hindrance Anna in any way.” After choosing this day to be Elizabeth's day, Nathalia made sure that it won't affect Anna or the other participants of this pageant event.

”I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there more reason why you chose this day?” Leon who was listening to Nathalia and Zen suddenly spoke.

Getting frustrated by all the same questions she's receiving from Zen and Leon, Nathalia shouted in order to relieve her stress. ”Arggghhh!”

Surprised by that sudden shout, both Zen and Leon immediately shut their mouth. To them, it seems like they made Nathalia angry, and they have no idea how they did that.

”First of all, I chose this day specifically because I found out that Elizabeth is planning something bad after the pageant event. What's her plan is? I don't know. I didn't get enough details about it.” After she said that, Nathalia walks away from Zen and Leon. She is tired to answer more of their questions.

”She's good. She's really good.” Leon complimented. As he was curious about Elizabeth's schemes, he went tried to hack Elizabeth's computer, however, he couldn't find a thing. Knowing that Nathalia's father is Leonardo Vendallin, there is no doubt in his mind that Nathalia can find any information as long she puts effort into it.

Zen stared at Leon. Clearly, he is misunderstood what Leon just said. ”Uh. If I were you I wouldn't be harboring such thoughts about Nathalia. Aaron might not realize it just yet, but you're going to be in a whole lot of trouble once he finds out about your thoughts about her.”

”Huh?” Leon gave Zen a look. ”You're talking nonsense, Zen. I don't see Nathalia that way. Besides, my heart is destined to love the right person, and obviously, that right person is not Nathalia.” Leon showed a confident smile. He feels so confident that his long wait will be all worth it.

”Yeah. Sure.” Zen spoke in with a straight expression on his face. Zen looks at his watch and saw the time. ”Hey, aren't you Anna's partner for the even? Why are you still here and not getting yourself ready?”

Looking at what Leon is wearing right now, Zen thinks that Leon has forgotten that he is part of the event. And looking at the time, it seems like Leon needs to hurry and get himself ready.

Hearing that, Leon gasped. ”Oh. God. I forgot to look at the time.” Without anything else to say, Leon hurriedly left Zen and went to where he should change. It's not like he had forgotten about the event, his reason is that he didn't manage his time very well.

In a place where all participants for the pageant event are all getting ready, and amongst them, the members of the Coleman family are there to see Anna getting herself ready. ”My darling daughter, you look so stunning today!”

”Thank you. I didn't think that I would look like this.” Back in her past life, Anna would always wear the simplest clothing. The reason for that is because Juan told her so. He said that she should not dress too fancy and make herself look too beautiful.

Now, she realized why he said that. It's all because of Rebecca. Rebecca hates seeing her wearing clothes that its brands are well-known and most people cannot afford such brands.

Realizing how she did not take care of appearance back then, Anna could only laugh in self-reflection. She is ashamed of what she had become back then.

'No wonder Grandfather is always angry at wearing such clothes.' Anna inwardly said. Marcus Coleman is a proud man, and the reason why he was upset seeing Anna wearing cheap clothes is that the Coleman family is not lacking in money and Anna is as beautiful as her mother, yet, his granddaughter chooses to wear such clothes. It makes the public thinks that he does not care about his granddaughter which is not true.

”Are you doubting your beauty, Anna?” Marcus asked in a serious tone. It displeases him one of his grandchildren doubts their own capability. He is not gonna lie, there are things that his children cannot do and not good at it, however, if they are good at that kind of thing they shouldn't be doubting themselves.
