Chapter 304 - Revenge 305: Dinner I (1/2)

”You already saw the twins? The saw you?”  Mary's heart is beating too fast from the sudden news.

She is not worried about what Arion feels, but she is worried about what her twins' feel when they saw their father. She knows what her son really feels towards Arion. And she's afraid of the words that he said to Arion.

Aaron will most likely to say something that will hurt Arion and will hurt himself.

”It's my fault, Mary,”  Leonardo spoke. He told Mary that he used Arion's rescue mission and the twins' mission for them to meet. Leonardo apologized to Mary that he hid the truth from her and that he has no intention of hurting her feelings. He just wanted the twins to meet their father first. ”Originally, I wanted you to know about Arion when the twins make their report to you. However, I didn't expect Arion to show himself to you right away.”

The thought of Arion rushing to ruin the date between Mary and Yun came into Leonardo's mind, that is why he didn't tell Arion about when the date will happen. Unexpectedly, Anna revealed it, and so on and so forth, everything that happened led to this very moment.

Mary sighed. No matter how angry she is right now, she could not have the heart to get angry at Leonardo. Everything that Leonardo has done for her was for her own good, and when he hid the truth about Arion, she knew right away that his intention was for her best.

”It's alright, Leo. I can't really complain to you.”

Mike who was listening felt a big disappointment inside of him. He expected Mary to shout and curse at Leonardo, but obviously, that did not happen. ”As always, you're too soft on Leonardo. ”

Zack nodded in agreement. He also thinks that same as Mike. Everyone in the room never saw Mary get angry at Leonardo. They never have seen them fight either. The only bad thing that happened to them is when they have a disagreement, but in the end, things work out in just five minutes.

”Yeah! When will you get angry at him? Your treatment towards him and us is kind of unfair, you know?!”

”Do I really have to eat with him on the same table?” Aaron asked. When Leon woke him up and told him that it's time for dinner, Arion's face suddenly appeared in his mind and right away, he already knew that he is going to have dinner with his father.

It will be their first dinner together, but it's not going to be the happiest moment in his life, it's going to be the worst moment of his life. How he wish to go home now. The woman named Claire took away all of his stuff including his sister's. If he had at least one device on him, he could call their family driver to send them back home.

” Look,” Leon turns his head to face Aaron and said, ”I would like to help you get out of here since you're clearly uncomfortable seeing your father, but unfortunately, I'm not able to help you. The one who is in charge of this house is the lady named Claire. And from what I heard, she's a scary woman, so please, don't make things harder for you and Anna.”

Leon's excitement for his boss' reunion with his family has depleted when he saw the expressions that the twins had earlier. Disappointment, anger, and sadness, that was written all over their faces. And that's the same expression he had when he faced his mother.

The only thing he hoped for his boss is to be able to connect with his family. And he would willingly help his boss. After all, that's the only thing he could as repayment for saving his miserable life with his mother.
