Chapter 303 - Revenge 304: Family Should Always Stay Together (1/2)

”Boss, a group of people is here, and one of them is your wife.” Leon who just arrived after doing an errand for Claire suddenly appeared. Giving his boss news that is possibly a good one or a bad one.

Arion took another glance at the twins before facing the people who have a lot of questions about his disappearance.

”Let's go, ” Arion said.

”Whoa. I thought Mary was imagining things since she misses you too much. Who would have thought that she's right? And no wonder she's very angry.” The tone that Mike is using sounds like he is amused by what's happening. But that tone is only a cover. He is actually angry on the inside and is holding himself back from doing something so troublesome.

He's not the only one. Zack, Alfonso, and Marcus are also burning in rage and are itching to put Arion deep underground. That way, the rumors of him being dead is true.

”Mike, there's no need for you to use that facade. If you're angry, then show it.” Harrison's voice was heard, and their expression described as if they are seeing a ghost.

”What kind of a f*cking joke is this?” Mary said. She couldn't help but curse at what Arion and Harrison are showing to her.

”Mary, calm yourself down. I feel exactly the same as you, however, you must hear their explanation first.” Leonardo appeared out of nowhere. As soon as he heard that Mary and the others have arrived, he abandoned what he was doing and quickly made his way towards Mary and the others. ”And of course, I will explain myself to you.”

Just by listening and looking at Leonardo, Mary can tell that Leonardo was the first one to know that Arion is back and Harrison being alive.

Slightly upset by Leonardo for hiding the truth from her, Mary can only nod her head at him. As usual, Mary trusts Leonardo more.

”Well then, start explaining now. Not all of us have the patience to not attacking one of you.” Zack might be the happy-go-lucky guy in their group, however, when he is angry, he transforms into a person that is a total stranger to them.

Arion and Harrison started to tell them about what really happened. From the time Harrison faked his death, the reason why he did that, and until to the part why Arion disappeared.

Shock, fear, anger, and sadness glimmered in Mary's eyes. She's having a hard time taking in all the information to her mind.

Her nightmare is coming to hunt her again, but her nightmare's true target is not her but her children. They're going to do the same thing those monsters did to her.

She's afraid that her children will never be the same once they go through that experience. The experience of facing a hell-like experiment.

”Why didn't you bother telling me about this?” Mary asked in a shaking voice. At this moment, Mary is crying and the sight of her crying made Arion's heart tinge in pain. ”This is our children we're talking about, Arion! I have the right to know about it! Do you think I'm that weak facing those bastards?!”

”No. I don't think that way, Mary. It just... I thought that leaving is the best way to be discreet against them.” At this point, Arion already knows that whatever he says won't matter because what he did is wrong.
