Chapter 287 - Revenge 288: The Last Place (1/2)

”Where are you going, Anna?” Marcus asked as soon as he saw the way his granddaughter is dressed. He knows that his grandchildren don't have school today, and seeing his granddaughter dressed in her outdoor clothes, he can't help but ask.

”Grandfather, I already told you yesterday that I'm going out with Kyle today,” Anna said casually as she places her breakfast on her plate.

”Yes. You did mention it to me.” Marcus said in a low voice. ”I also remembered that I disagree with you going out today.” He added. It's not like Marcus disagree with Anna being with Kyle, however, with the people who are trying to bring down all members of his family, Marcus can't risk one of his grandchildren going outside when there is danger lurking all over the place.

”Grandfather, I know what you are thinking and you don't have to worry too much. What is the use of my training if I am not able to protect myself? Besides, I have Kyle, there is nothing to worry about.” Anna understands that risk of carelessly going out, however, she can't have that hold her back. She has to continue her life, have fun, and do things that she was not able to do in her past life.

”I agree, grandfather.” Aaron seconded Anna's claim. As much as he hates to admit, Kyle is also as skillful as he is. After all, the Robertson family is no ordinary rich people.

Marcus sigh. Their stubbornness and carefreeness remind him so much of his son, Arion. ”Then how about this, you bring two or three bodyguards with you.” He is not gonna let his granddaughter walk out of the mansion without anyone protecting her.

Having bodyguards at her side will make Marcus feel relax.

”NO,” Anna said firmly. She is going to be with Kyle probably for the whole day and her grandfather wants her to bring bodyguards? No. That is a big fat no. It would be embarrassing and awkward, she doesn't know how to face Kyle again if she does bring some bodyguards with her.

”Grandfather, seriously? If you are in my sister's shoes, do you think you would like to have people following you around while you are on a date?” Even Aaron would feel that way if people who are in a black suit are following him on his date.

”I would feel...” Marcus wasn't able to finish his sentence when he realized the embarrassment his granddaughter would feel if he insist on wanting Anna to bring bodyguards with her.

”See, you can't even finish your sentence, grandfather. That is why we have this saying: 'think before you speak.” Aaron's remark only made Marcus feel irritated. Aaron and Arion are truly alike. No matter how many times Aaron tries to deny that, Marcus can see that they are so similar to each other.

”Rude child, better shut that mouth of yours.”

Right after Anna finished eating her breakfast, the person she has been waiting for has arrived. With excitement rising inside her, she immediately took her things, then went out of the mansion to meet that person.

The old maids who happened to be outside are excited as well. They are happy to see that their young miss is going with a handsome young man like Kyle.

At first, when they saw Kyle coming in and out of the mansion, they were cautious of him. They know his reason for coming is because of their young miss, and they are not convinced that Kyle truly likes their young miss.
