Chapter 249 - Revenge 250: I Should Have Done This Earlier (1/2)

”Hey, Kyle,” Erik called out Kyle's name. Kyle did not turn around to face him, but Erik knew that he heard him, so he continues to speak, ”I did not bring my car and the driver who used to drive me wherever I go, is on vacation, so can you please do me a favor and let me go with you?”

Kyle who heard Erik asking him for a favor was deep in thoughts on if he should consider giving Erik a ride home. It took him a minute, but in the end, Kyle agreed. Of course, this made Erik very happy, he doubted that Kyle would give a ride home, but knowing that Kyle agreed, he is quite surprised and happy.

Kyle and Erik went to the parking lot together, and as usual, people are staring at them and whispering. Both Kyle and Erik are immune to their stares and whispers, they just treat those people like air.

Paying attention to those unwanted people is going to be a headache because those unwanted people get ahead of themselves, thinking that they are special to Erik and Kyle's eyes.

Kyle went inside his car first, and as he is about to let Erik in, his phone suddenly vibrated. He took his phone out and he was slightly startled when he saw a name that pops on the screen of his phone.

It was Anna's number, and she messaged him.

Not too long ago, Kyle asked his little sister to give him Anna's number, and of course, Lannie happily gave Anna's number without any hesitation. Kyle saved Anna's number, but he is unable to send a message to Anna because he thinks that Anna won't reply back to him.

Without waiting any longer, Kyle opened the message that Anna sent to him, and read it. In Anna's message, it is said that Anna wants to treat him for helping her when her allergy reacted. She also said that she would like to meet up with him whenever he has time.

In Kyle's perspective, he thinks that it was only natural for him to help her, and did not think that there is a need to pay him back for something he did especially when the matter involves her. But a treat is a treat, Kyle would not pass by this kind of opportunity to be with Anna.

Not wasting another second, Kyle replied back, saying that he has time and he will pick her up in her school.

While Kyle is busy typing on his phone, Erik was starting to get impatient waiting outside. Wanting to know what is happening inside, Erik knock on the door of the car. Kyle took notice of it and slightly opened the window.

”Are you gonna let me inside or no?” Erik asked. He somehow felt a bad premonition all of a sudden.

”No.” Erik blinked twice when he heard that. In his mind, he is trying to convince herself that he misheard what Kyle just said.

”I-I'm sorry, but I think I heard you wrong, can, can you please repeat that again.” Erik is truly praying deep in his heart that he misheard Kyle.
