Chapter 248 - Revenge 249: Mutual Feelings (1/2)
”Are you alright?” Kyle asked in a worried tone. When he saw his sister pushed Anna towards him and Anna lost her balance, his brain automatically told him to catch Anna before she drops on the floor.
”Y-yes. I'm alright.” There was a light shade of red on Anna's face, she is truly embarrassed that she almost falls to the ground, and that Kyle had saved her. Trying to hide the redness of her face, and to do that, Anna let her long hair covers her face.
”Thank you,” she said in a low voice.
After hearing those responses from Anna, Kyle's hear calmed in relief. He glances at his sister and gave her a glare. He understands that his sister is excited, but why should she have to push Anna like that? Though he appreciates that Anna is in his arms, but still, Anna almost smashes herself on the ground.
Lannie gave her brother a peace sign and smiled at him. She knows that she is at fault, and making Anna fall to the ground was not her intention. She just wanted to make Anna get closer to her brother, but who would have thought it almost harmed Anna.
Though, looking at the scene that is unfolded in front of her, Lannie is quite satisfied that Anna is in her brother's arms. She guesses that over her reckless action, it resulted in something good.
'Should I ask my brother to praise me?' The thought of asking her brother to praise her might not work since the result of what she did almost made Anna fall to the ground.
Lannie shook her head and just focus on the scene in front of her.
Aaron who has been watching Kyle holding his sister felt displeasure from it. He is grateful that Kyle saved his sister, but does he have to hold his sister longer than necessary?
Without any hesitation, Aaron strides his way towards Kyle and Anna, then separated them both. ”Thank you for saving my sister.” He said. Aaron wanted to warn Kyle not to touch his sister unnecessarily, but he decided not to because his sister might get angry at him for getting in the way.
He could already tell that Anna has fallen for Kyle, and Aaron could also tell that Anna won't be confessing her feelings any time soon. As is it like that, Aaron wants to know that if their feelings for each are truly real or is it just out of their own curiosity. Testing them would be the best way to know.
At first glance, Kyle could tell that Anna's brother, Aaron is trying to get him away from Anna, and he is not mad about it. From what he hears from the news and from his sister, Anna and Aaron are very close to each other. It is only natural if Aaron and Anna are being protective of each other.
Though in the Coleman house, Anna is not the only young girl in the family. Anna has a cousin, and that cousin receives less attention from Marcus Coleman. Kyle knows that Marcus loves his family very much, but knowing the fact that Marcus pays much more attention to the twins than to his other grandchild, Kyle can't help but think that there is a reason behind the Marcus' distance towards his other grandchild.
Whatever ever the case may be, Anna is the precious princess of the family. If they are warry of him, it is very understandable.
Ignoring her brother's protective stance, Anna spoke, ”Shall we go?” If she and Kyle stay here any longer, her brother might change his mind and stop her from going with Kyle. It is better for her and Kyle to leave immediately.
