Chapter 236 - Revenge 237: For the Sake of Her Love Ones (1/2)

”Umm… y-you can leave now. I don't want you to waste your time on me.” Anna said as she avoided the gaze Kylle is giving her. For some reason, being all alone in her room with Kyle making heart beat erratically. 'This is dangerous.' She said inwardly.

She discreetly glances at him and saw that he has a calm expression on his face. Anna never once had a problem facing Kyle before, but right now, Kyle is just too much for her to handle. She is here sitting on her bed and having a dilemma facing him while Kyle is sitting on the chair in front of her, having such a calm look on his face.

'Why is it that I'm the only feeling awkward at this situation?' She asked inwardly. She feels that Kyle is treating her unjustly.

”Leave? I believe I can't do that.” Kyle said as he reveals a gentle smile on his face. ”Your grandfather told me to make that you rest properly.”

Kyle knows that what he did earlier, carrying Anna in a bridal style is too much and inappropriate because he knows that they are not that close like Anna is close to Josh and Zen. He only did that out of worry that Anna might exert herself. He hopes that Anna won't hate him for his action, and swears that next time, he will not do things that would make Anna uncomfortable.

”You can just tell grandfather that I'm already sleeping.” It would have been better if Kyle at least shows her that he is also awkward in the situation that they are in, but is just immune to awkwardness.

”Anna, you do know that lying is not the best way to handle your grandfather, right?” Kyle doesn't live in the Coleman residence, but he knows that whoever faces Marcus must not lie to him, face to face.

Seeing that Anna is feeling awkward being here with him all alone in her room, Kyle sighed, and spoke, ”If you don't want me to be here, then just say so. I can leave your room if you really don't want me here.”

The way Anna is hearing, it sounded like he was an abandoned puppy, and this is making her feel bad for making it obvious that she is throwing him out of her room.

After thinking things through, Anna finally spoke, ”I'm sorry.” She said as she lowers her head feeling bad. ”Y-you don't have to go, you can stay here until I fell asleep.” If she were brave enough to tell Kyle the truth, she would say that she would feel lonely if he leaves. But because of her nervousness and the feeling of awkwardness, she doesn't have the guts to say it.

Kyle grinned when he heard that. He is quite satisfied with Anna's words, ”Are you sure that you want me to stay here? I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable.” Kyle might want to stay with Anna for much longer, but he still wants to make sure that Anna is comfortable when she is around him.

”Yes. I am sure. Besides, I like to talk to someone before I sleep.” Anna doesn't know why but talking to someone before sleeping makes her feel at ease. Every night, before she sleeps, the person she always talks to is her brother.
