Chapter 235 - Revenge 236: She Will Be Punished (1/2)

The maid held the side of her cheek, she felt so much pain; it is only a slap, and yet it has too much force in it. But the most painful thing is that Anna called her stupid. Her pride can't take such humiliating words that Anna is spouting to her.

”You can't get away from this, you are already caught red-handed. You better not try to find your way out of this or else, elder Coleman might actually kill you after this.” Though Kyle is not entirely sure if  Marcus will only punish the maid, whatever Marcus will do to her, Kyle will not care as long as the maid got what she deserves.

”Y-young master Kyle, I, I—” The way those words came out of the maid's mouth sounded so tender and pitiful. That really triggered Anna very much; she did not like the sound of it. The way she hears those words, it sounded so disgusting and she doesn't want to hear more of it.

Anna can even see that the maid is trying to make Kyle pity her and defend her from her grandfather's rage. Being at her limit, Anna tightly held the maid's chin, forcing the maid to look at her. ”If I were you, I would stop doing what  you are doing right now because I can assure you that it is not gonna work as long as I am here.”

The maids every expression reminds Anna a lot of how Rebecca acts so pitifully whenever Juan is around.

Anna doesn't understand why some people think that people like Kyle always take pity on then whenever they act pitiful. She thinks that those kinds of people are too disgusting to look at. Sometimes, she just wishes for people like the maid in front of her to be gone in the world; they have corrupted the planet earth that God has given them.

”Anna, what is going on?” A voice from behind was suddenly heard, and that voice came from Anna's grandfather, Marcus. ”You had just recovered from your allergy, you should be relaxing your body first before moving around too much.” He said in a worried tone.

Marcus did not notice the maid since Anna and Kyle blocking the sight of her. He could not see the maid, but he could hear that maid's sobbing. That maid Marcus frown; it looks to him that the sobbings definitely did not come from his granddaughter, so he wonders where did that sobbing come from. ”What's with the annoying noise?” He said in irritation.

”That annoying noise came from her,” Kyle said as he moves away from the maid and showed Marcus the pathetic face the maid is making right now. He also showed Marcus the container that the maid was about to throw out earlier.

”This...”

”Yes, grandfather. That is the same container that was used last night to tamper nanny Tess' flour.”
