”That should not be questioned, elder Coleman. I would be glad to solve this once and for all.” As long as it is related to Anna, Kyle wouldn't mind corporating with this kind of matter many times.
Anna doesn't sense anything unusual to what Kyle just said, but frowned at the thought that Kyle is doing all this alone. It is not just the Robertson family who is involved, the Coleman family is involved in it too. If none of the Coleman family is going to help Kyle, then wouldn't it be too unfair for Kyle?
”Grandfather, you're letting Kyle work on this matter alone?” She asked with a hint of disappointment in her grandfather. Her grandfather should know better than this matter should not be worked alone; Kyle needs someone to assist him in this. After all, anything can happen in this world. Some bad things might happen to Kyle and that must be avoided.
”What? You are worried that he'll hurt himself? Then go with him if you're really that worried.” Marcus only said that out of whim, but he did not expect Kyle to agree to it immediately.
”That's fine by me,” Kyle said with a smile; he did not let both Anna and Marcus take back what they just said.
Anna wanted to protest because she did not say anything about her going with Kyle with this case. The only she said is that someone from the side of the Coleman should help Kyle, and by what she means by someone is her brother. Her brother is better than her, why would he pick her instead? She will only get in his way.
As for Marcus, he felt defeated by Kyle's sly way. 'Despite what is going on right now, this brat sure knows how to play his game just to spend time with my granddaughter.'
As Kyle was explaining things to Anna, the maid from earlier suddenly came in bringing snacks with her. Marcus was a little bit unhappy with the sudden intrusion of the maid; they did not ask anybody to bring anything, but then again, as the host of the house, they should make their guest comfortable. He guesses that he could overlook the maid's intrusion.
”Put it there and leave,” Marcus said; he did not even bother to look at the maid in the eye. Though the made dislike the way Marcus is treating her, the maid did not mind it one bit because her target is the guest of the house.
The maid put the snack on the place Marcus told her to, but she did not leave, and this made Marcus frowns at her. He is disliking the disobedience the maid is showing in front of the guest. ”Did you not hear what I just said?” Marcus said with a hint of annoyance in his tone.
The maid was slightly startled with the coldness in Marcus' voice, but she immediately tried to calm herself down. No matter how many years she has been working in the Coleman mansion, she never gonna get used to the coldness of the family members who live here.
