Chapter 230 - Revenge 230: Why Wait? (1/2)

”You and your brother got followed and saw this symbol to the man who's following you both?” Marcus said, trying to confirm that he did not hear it wrong. When he saw that his granddaughter nodded, he suddenly felt a not so good feeling inside of him.

He felt that the culprit of his brother's death is aiming for his grandchildren now. 'I have to do something about this.' He inwardly said.

”That happened and you should have told me or your mother. You and your brother should not keep this a secret! Your damn safety is at stake here!” Anna was shocked to hear her grandfather shouted at her in anger. Her grandfather always shouts at her in her past life because of her putting shame in their family name, but for some reason this time it felt different.

He sounded angry and at the same time, there was also a hint of worry in his tone. This made feel a little bit warmer on the inside. But she doesn't have the time to contemplate on that since the matter right now sounded like a big problem.

”Brother and I thought that it was only normal since most of the time, we are being targeted by some small organizations.”  Anna and her brother only thought that some small organizations had the guts to target them, and they didn't really pay much attention to it. The only thing they have to do is to find whoever leads that organization and then tore it on the inside. They did not consider the fact that this could be a big problem.

”Whether or not it is a small organization, you twins should at least tell us grown-ups about the matter.” The more Marcus hears about what the twins have been up to the more Marcus felt a tinge of pain in his head. 'Those two sure are giving me headaches at this age.'

Somehow Anna felt that her grandfather is being a hypocrite. ”Grandfather, you were the one who told us that if it is a small organization, brother and I can handle it and we don't need to tell you about it. After all, you also said that we are old enough to solve this kind of matter.”

Marcus was silenced for a moment when he heard his granddaughter's argument. He did say that to them, but they should know that the people they are currently getting information on is a very dangerous group of people. So what he said to them should be invalid.

”I did say that, but those are a very dangerous group of people and that means you and your twin must not get close to those people.” Marcus firmly said.

”Grandfather, I had no idea that they are dangerous as you say they are, that's why I have been searching for information about it. If I found out that they are very dangerous people, then I would back out and tell this matter to mother.” Anna is not stupid, she knows that she and her brother are not ready to handle big-time organizations like the people her grandfather and Kyle are talking about.

”Elder, I don't think that you should scold Anna for this. It seems that she truly has no idea about it.” It's clear to Marcus that no matter what kind of a situation this is, Kyle would always be on Anna's side. This somehow annoys Marcus, if they become a couple in the future he is pretty sure that Kyle will spoil Anna to no end, and Kyle must not spoil Anna too often. Even he doesn't spoil his granddaughter that often.
