Chapter 99 - Revenge 98: Men With Masks (1/2)
”What happened?” Zen asked as he observes Anna.
Anna looked at him and frown, ”Tell me, when someone asks you to accompany him or her and then suddenly he or she left all without anything else to say after saying that, what would you feel?”
Hearing her question Zen got immediately caught on what happened between Anna and Kyle. 'Geez, if he likes Anna why would he act like that?' In Zen's perspective, everything since the moment Kyle glared at him makes sense now; it seems that Kyle likes Anna.
That's what Zen thinks and he is not totally sure but that is the only possible way why would Kyle glare at him for no reason and why would he ask Anna to accompany him, just the two of them. If he truly likes Anna then Zen thinks that he just did is what he shouldn't have done. Walking out after saying that is no no no. 'No good, no good my friend.'
”I think I would feel irritated. Is it about Kyle? I just saw him walking out of the kitchen.”
For a few seconds, Anna did not reply. ”No. Never mind.” She said shaking her head. Wanting to change the subject she asks, ”Did you talk to my mom?”
Zen knows what she's trying to do but he still answer her question, ”Yup. She said that she will send someone here but in the meantime, we should keep a close eye with big sis Pia and Alexandre.”
Anna nodded in agreement and then they both went to the living room where Pia and Alexandre is. When they arrived they saw Pia was sleeping on the couch while Alexandre was wide awake playing with his rattle toy. He looks so adorable that Anna forgot her irritation with Kyle.
Alexandre looked at Anna's direction and he smiles brightly as he raises both of his tiny hands, waving it playfully. He is so adorable that Anna and Zen's heart melted in an instant. Zen wanted to carry him in his arms but Anna slapped his hands and she carried Alexandre in her arms instead.
”That is so not fair!” He said angrily but Anna just ignored him and focus her whole attention to Alexandre.
Anna still can't believe that in her past life, she had no idea that her uncle Alfonso had a son and he did not even tell her about that matter. She wonders that if she had not visited Alfonso on that day would she knows about Alexandre's existence? Probably not.
In her past life the only thing she remembered is her uncleFonso is in a deep depression that no matter how much she tries to cheer him up, it did not help even a tiny bit. Looking at the upcoming plan of Elina, Anna could guess that in her past life Alexandre died from that plan of theirs that cause the depression on her uncle Fonso. Whether that is the real cause of not Anna is still planning on not letting Elina have the last laugh. She won't let Elina ruin either of Alfonso and Alexandre's life.
As Anna was playing with Alexandre she looked at the rattle toy that Alexandre has on his hands. She then remembered what her uncle Fonso said to her about this particular toy. She was about to look closely to it when a loud crash was heard not far away from where Anna is.
”Jesus! What happened?!” Zen loudly exclaimed that it woke Pia.
