Chapter 89 - Revenge 88: His Apology Gift (1/2)
While Anna is having her own dilemma, Kyle too has his own. He is debating on whether he should give the necklace now or should he just wait and give it to her when they arrive at Alfonso's house?
It has become more awkward for him than what he felt earlier in the morning when they were having breakfast together. And now how come since earlier at the mall he is thinking too much what Anna would like or what Anna would think. He is even thinking about what kind of reaction will Anna show him once he gives him the necklace to her.
He is nervous, which is very confusing for him. Usually, when he gives something to someone he would not even care what they think or is that what they really want. But for some reason, he's worried all about that in front of Anna.
In the end, after calming his mind Kyle handed the necklace to her. What's the difference if he could just give is to her?
”Here.” He said; handing the small wrap box in front of Anna.
Anna looked at the thing in Kyle's hand in front of her. She's confused, what is he planning now? Anna is debating whether she should go and get the tiny wrap box or just leave Kyle hanging? If she leaves Kyle hanging then that would be rude right? And he might get angry which is not a really good option. And if she reaches her hands out then there's might be a prank on that little box. 'Uhh... What should I do...'
It is all so complicated for Anna that Kyle notices her hesitation to accept his gift. Kyle then decided to open it for her; Anna saw a necklace, in her eyes, it was simple yet elegant. She likes the way it was designed. She likes it very much.
Kyle saw the glow in her eyes and he was satisfied, 'She likes it.' Kyle reached out to Anna flinched but she flinched when he did that and put the necklace around her neck. She was surprised and she was blushing red because he is too close to her face; she literary feel her breath to her skin.
Is he giving to her? Well, obviously he is putting it around her neck but the question Anna have on her mind id that why would Kyle give this to her? What did she do to deserve a gift from him?
In her past life, she heard from the rumors that it is hard to get something from Kyle and he never gives something to anyone unless someone did something that caught his interest, which is really hard by the way. Many people tried to do so but they always failed.
”W-why are you giving this to me?” She asked; there is still a slight blush in her cheeks. Anna knows that she was blushing and she is even cursing herself for blushing. 'What are you even blushing for Anna?! It's not like this is your first time that a guy did this to you! Remember that back-stabbing jackass Juan?! He also did this kind of this to you! There's no need to blush of feeling shy about this kind of thing!' Anna said in her mind, scolding herself.
”My apology gift.”
”Apology gift?”
